What You Can Expect

Your 14-hour day trip to Beijing from Shanghai starts bright and early at 5:30am with a hotel pickup. You’ll get taken to the Shanghai airport, and board a plane for a 2-hour flight over to China’s capital city.

Your guide meets you in Beijing where he or she picks you up in a private vehicle. Your first stop is at the Temple of Heaven, the imperial complex of religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of the city’s center. Take about an hour to explore the ground before breaking for a Chinese lunch.
