My family and I had a limited amount of time in Shanghai and wanted to make sure we saw the highlights. We were met at our hotel by our guide Fei Fei who treated us to the perfect day. Not only did we see everything that was advertised, Fei Fei made adjustments to the itinerary to add or extend visits at our request. Prior to our arrival in Shanghai, I received e-mails from Sunny confirming meeting time and her company's goal of making our tour the best it can be. I would highly recommend Sunny Tours for any Shanghai tours you might be considering.
We were in good hands with Fei Fei, our guide. She gave us a good introduction to Shanghai city, with stops at the City God Temple famed for its jade Buddhas, Yu Garden, The Bund, a tea house as well as a local restaurant for lunch. Fei Fei was also able to give us insights into interesting aspects of the city's history and development. All in, this tour was a great choice for my family and I who are first timers to Shanghai.
Our family couldn’t have asked for a better tour advisor. Sunny was incredible — very knowledgeable, engaging, and FUN! Sunny shared the history of Shanghai in a way that our kids could understand and appreciate. She also was very flexible with the schedule, which makes for an ever better experience
Sunny tours was A from start to finish. While in Shanghai, my wife and I had trouble coordinating a decent tour through our hotel as language was an insurmountable barrier even in a Hilton hotel. We got so frustrated, we looked online and purchased this tour based upon reviews like this one. We were greeted with an e-mail for us to coordinate the travel within a few short hours and transactions were easy.
The morning of our tour, we were greeted by guide Lily on time and in perfect English, and helped us to our tour car, where we had a private driver all day to take us around Shanghai. The tour took us to all the major sites and several minor ones that were not easily accessible including a park where all of the Chinese danced, did tai-chi and enjoyed life. She took us around temples, a delightful shopping plaza, and helped us buy a delicious mango from a local market. Lunch was outstanding, she happily joined us to help discern the differences between tendon dumplings and tripe soup gross and the delicious meats and noodles, no-spicy... like Americans like right? What a perfect day.
Lily and her driver swept us around Shanghai in rhythmic organization with little waiting like a true professional. Her driver even helped us transfer our hotels at the end of the day, which would have been challenging, they made simple :.
Lily was punctual, kind, courteous, energetic, and wonderful! The tour was so good, we asked if she could take us an additional day to a museum and then on to the ancient Water Town, including a boat ride and lunch. We agreed and spent 2 whole days touring this amazing city. Most importantly, at the water town she steered us away from eating the stinky tofu LOL! Well, I guess I could have figured out that one by the terrible smell. But most importantly, she guided us in a kind and non-assuming, open style. A job.
If any other American is reading this post, Shanghai is not an easy city to get to the best sights due to language barriers. I cannot tell you how fast you need to book this tour if you want to see the real Shanghai. Just spend the money, get the private driver and car. Worth every penny.
Our guide, Lily, was wonderful. Everything was flexible and Lily catered to our needs. Wonderful experience worth every penny. Lily made us feel like close freinds!
Lily was our guide for this tour and she was fantastic, very flexible as we had our toddler with us and she took us to see some interesting locations around inner Shanghai. Sunny was also great and was in touch with me well in advance to organise the tour. Very happy and would recommend this tour to anyone.
How do you discover Shanghai, a city of 25 million people in one day? Of course, it is impossible, it would take several weeks to do so, therefore I did the next best thing. To utilize most effectively the available time, I hired a private guide, which included a taxi driver. I booked this Private Full-Day tour with Sunny Flower Tours Shanghai. I met with Sunny at my hotel at 9 am and the driver took as first to the Shanghai Old Town Nanshi, before the crowds come in.
Sunny is a wonderful guide, a true professional she has extensive knowledge of Shanghai and surrounding area, and Chinese history in general. She has a bachelors degree in English, speaks fluent English and has great communication skills. She is a National licensed tour guide, but she is also business interpreter. She came on time and has an upbeat personality which makes her fun to travel with. She showed me the best parts of the cities, its culture, history and even the sounds that the cities have to offer. We were like two best friends roaming the city, and the taxi driver would always show up after a call from Sunny within 3 minutes to drive us to yet another destination.
Sunny is very flexible and adapts well to special requests, which made my tour in Shanghai a very pleasant experience, where we could tour the City at my pace and to my liking, spending as much time as I wonted in some places, or just zip through in the others. Thank you Sunny for this extraordinary experience touring Shanghai I just wish we had few more days to see some more.
Sunny was the most amazing tour guide ever. I got to see so much of Shanghai because of her and my experience was better than I couldve ever imagined I hope to see Sandy again when Im in Shanghai or on business !!!!
