What a great experience! The flavors are yummy and very distinct. Also the jams are to die for. You wouldn't wanna miss this when you're in Siem Reap. Kim, our tasting guide, was very patient and kind to us!! I highly highly highly recommend this very affordable side trip 😀 Also after the tasting, you wouldn't even feel the pressure to buy because they wouldn't salestalk to you. But after tasting their flavors, we still bought a lot because they are worth my money! I enjoyed the jams too, I can never forget.

This was a great experience. Based over two floors there is a short tour of how they do it on the top floor and then a tasting below. I liked this as it meant we got picked up, had some awesome local snacks and then the tasting. The one item I want to highlight is there was no pressure to buy after the tasting... However we did purchase a bottle to take back!

Please go visit when in Siem Reap. A lovely little shop, it's a very personalized experience to taste all their liqueurs and see the process of infusion. Plus the hand painted bottles make the best gift to bring home for friends and family!

Great tour and tasting experience. The hand-painted bottles are beautiful and the sombai is amazing! I brought my children with and they enjoyed the tour too. Even though they could not paticipated in the tasting, they enjoyed smelling the different liqueurs.

A small group tour of where Sombai is made. They're a bit stingy with the tasters, to be true, but you also get to try several kinds of alcoholic jam which wasn't mentioned until we got there and which was quite tasty.

This tour was good if a little short. Got a nice short tour around the distillery and got to taste a variety of the spirits. The guide was kind and friendly. Got picked up from the hotel which is good. It would be ideal at the start of the day.

This was a really great tour for the price. They tell you about the process of distilling and infusing the rice wine. It was very informative. Also they were willing to do our tour on a holiday.

This was quite amazing. They picked us up, showed us around the storage area and explained the different rice wine. Then we tried 11 different kinds. I wasn't planning on buying anything but after the tasting I bought 2 bottles. Yumm!

This was a neat little tour--it doesn't last very long but it was a lot of fun! I was picked up at my hotel which is great, because my hotel was a little out of town and taken to their workshop. I saw the bottles of liqueur in various stages of the process and tasted eleven samples the last three were new flavors they were trying out. It would be a great rainy day activity.

this trip the sombai infused workshop is only a short trip , but is well worth doing , once there the guide shows you round all the different selections of liqueur and explains what is in each one and how long they have been made, the highlight of the trip is the tasting , you get to taste a minimum of six different flavors, plus snacks, after the tasting you can by the bottles, i chose the banana flavor one, just wish i had off brought more !!! i would recommend this short tour while in siem reap

This tour only lasted 45 minutes but it was one of many highlights of our visit to Siem Reap Feb. 2016. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the Sombai location which was only a short distance. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who was out guide. She took us upstairs steep stairway and explained the 11 types of infused liquor and how they are made and then bottled. After that we are taken back downstairs for a tasting of 8 different flavors. Since I have allergies to citrus , I only tasted 3, which were all great. I ended up buying several small bottles to bring back to the US. My favorites were the Anise Coffee and The Banana Cinnamon blend. The bottles are beautifully hand painted by a local Cambodian artist and each is one-of-a-kind. This is a NOT-TO-MISS activity.
