Great fun. It was very well organised and we enjoyed learning about traditional cooking in Singapore.
Looking forward to doing it again on our next trip.
It was enormous fun. Such a good way of spending a morning, and Lesley and Helen were brilliant at teaching and giving us bits of history of Singapore. If we had had more time I would have asked for another session!
From when you enter the room you were felt very welcomed.
The food you cooked is what you ate. I never felt like I was a tourist I felt like I was cooking with a family.
Great experience would do it again.
Loved it! This was my second time to the school. Learnt a lot and looking forward to trying recipe at home.
We both love to cook and book classes wherever we can. It was only 3 of us with Mary the instructor and one apprentice, who did the preparations and kept everything tidy. We learnt about the history of Singapore and the development of the cuisine. We were intoduced to their way of cooking and the receipes, we would cook. We had a lot of expanantions, preparations and cooking. The dishes we wonderful. We even receives a little gift. Receipes were e- mailed and pictures posted.
I did not know a curry can taste sooooo good. Mary was personal and very professional. My husband calles it a highlight of our 5 week vacation!!
Very recommandable, honestly a MUST for food- lovers.
The ladies who ran the class were absolutely lovely. They were really friendly and welcoming, and knew a lot about Singapore culture and food.
The class was really interesting. The recipes were easy to follow and the food tasted delicious.
Recipes and photos from the class are emailed to you afterwards, and I am currently making the dishes for dinner at home tonight.
I have done quite a few tours and activities in Singapore over the past few years, and this class stands out as being the best.
I highly recommend the class and look forward to doing the class again myself next time I am in Singapore.
I participated in the class from JAPAN.
I'm worried because I'm not good at communicating in English.
But the teacher and classmates were so kind as to help me.
A crispy spring roll was the best of all.
I could learn to how to cook as well as the history and origin of traditional Singaporean food.
That was a very fun and beneficial class, so I want to participate again！Thanks a lot！
Great cooking class, very well set up and we had an excellant teacher. Food was fantastic. We will definately do another class next time back to Singapore
This was one of the best tours we have done. I cannot speak highly enough of this experience, Leslie was so passionate about food, she was able to share some great insights to Singaporean history, people, food, culture etc. The food was great and we got to cook together at a nice easy pace. Would recommend this tour to anyone, you don't need to be a cook.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our Singaporean Cooking Class! We had loads of fun learning to cook our favourite food. Highly recommended.
This was a fantastic tour! Lydia, our chef-in-charge, was very knowledgeable about Singaporean food and history. We made a delicious selection of food - potato curry pastries, curry and rice, and an omelette. The best part was being able to eat it afterward! It was a seamless experience and a great addition to my trip.
Best cooking class I've ever taken. The teacher takes her time, is very informative and makes the whole experience so enjoyable. The building and facilities are modern and clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
This class was amazing! Staff were so professional, friendly and informative. My hubby and I aren't the best chefs in the kitchen but we had a ball in this class, highly recommend to everyone wanting to try something different - food was amazing! Thank you so much!
Lydia and Helen are warm and informative class leaders. With fun stories and good simple cooking tips it is a worthwhile and excellent experience while in Singapore.
Tremendous experience. True hands on with a genuinely interested chef. I will do it again when I return to Singapore.
We thoroughly enjoyed this class! The instructor, Helen, was very knowledgeable and shared many tidbits about Singapore's history and culture, all while gently guiding us through making the dishes. The school provided recipes and we'll definitely be making all these dishes at home. It was a lovely morning. We didn't need to eat again all day ...
Fantastic... Loved every minute of it ... Good to see you guys are keeping the tradition alive
Excellent class, and pretty much exactly what we wanted. There was enough pre-preparation to ensure the class moved along but enough hands-on to ensure we learnt the skills. The teachers were personable, encouraging but willing to show where you could improve. They provided some useful hints, and the dishes were well geared to home cooking. The photos were posted on Facebook as promised, and recipes emailed promptly.
A fantastic morning, a lot of fun and great teachers, loved the dishes that we made and ate.
What a great morning, not only learnt to cook some wonderful meals but the tutors were very informative and lots of laughs. The next day they had emailed photos of the day and recipes of dishes we cooked. Will do another one if are back in Singapore
We really enjoyed our morning with Helen and Noi on 27.1.14. The group was great and it was lovely to hear a little about Singapore. The food delicious. Still waiting for recipes to be emailed. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys cooking - a great morning!!
