Kampong Glam and Sultan Mosque Morning Walking Tour

It was an interesting tour not only from a historical point of view, but also as one that gives the possibility of getting to know the modern life of the amazing city where people from different religions live side by side. And from the first glance live in real cooperation so rare in the modern world. Special thanks to the tour guide Mrs. Hemlata that not only told about the history of the district and the entire city, but also shared the perception of the local residents of that.

Excellent guide and easy walking pace. Gained Insight into history of architecture, Islam and royalty of old. Taken to a couple of good value retailers in Arabic area, including a perfume-maker. Guide saw us back to train station where tour started and gave assistance to those who were unsure of how to use rail system, or what sights were nearby to explore by self.

Lye Nak our tour guide was excellent! She spoke perfect English, was upbeat, knowledgable, prepared and welcoming. I have been to Singapore on a few occasions and wanted to concentrate more time in the Kampong Glam district. This tour was perfect for what I was looking for.
