Singapore City Tour

Thian Hock Keng Temple in Singapore

Your half-day Singapore city tour starts in the Civic District, where you’ll see government buildings and other landmarks such as the Parliament House, the Cricket Club, Padang sports field and the National Gallery Singapore, where the former Supreme Court Building and City Hall sit. Then stop for a view of Marina Bay and photo op of the Merlion statue, Singapore’s mythological figure that’s half-fish, half-lion.

Next, visit Thian Hock King, one of the city’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, followed by a drive through Chinatown. Stop by the National Orchid Garden, part of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which is home to 60,000 orchids of various colors and hybrids. Your last stop is the neighborhood of Little India, where you can take in the lively atmosphere and delicious scents coming out of the many Indian restaurants.

When your tour ends, you’ll have a helpful overview of the city so you can decide where you want to return later to explore in more depth on your own.

Really enjoyed this short tour of Singapore. As we were only there for a couple of days, it got us to places, eg botanical gardens, that we wouldn't have otherwise seen. Well worth the price.

Enjoyed this half day tour as a quick orientation and introduction to Singapore. Had only a short visit so this tour was ideal. Saw a lot in the short time. Was particularly struck with the beauty of the orchid gardens. An ideal tour as an introduction and overview of what Singapore has to offer. Would recommend the tour.

Was skeptical of this tour but was more than pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend this tour unless you have all the time in the world to get acquainted with the city on your own.
