What a fantastic day. The pick ups were well planned, individual taxis took everyone from different hotels to a meeting point and onto one coach and bang on time. The breakfast with the Orangutans was totally brilliant, the zoo is more like a nature reserve and is well worth the visit. Others on the half day trip decided to stay longer, or do the river trip, but we found there was just enough time to go round what we wanted to see. Cannot fault anything, another great trip from viator, highly recommended.
Excellent tour. Wonderful experience seeing the Orangutans up close.
Take the tram ride around the zoo first, so that you can concentrate on seeing the animals you wish to see in the time allowed.
There are other wonderful animals to see as well - elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions. chimps, various other monkeys, crocadiles, tortoises and many other animals.
Excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with the Orangutans. The event was well run, the breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety. The cost of photographs was a little on the high side but you can also use your own camera and the zoo staff will take the photograph. The Orangutans are only on view at the breakfast site for 30 mins, but this is ensure that their welfare is maintained. You then have about a further 90 mins to explore the zoo further. Of particular intrest are 2 white tigers which are very popular with visitors. I would highly recommend this trip when you are in Singapore.
Best Zoo have seen in a long time animals very well looked after, clean and good viewing Platforms. The breakfast with the Orangutans was so good they are so much like Humans if only they could talk wow.Plenty to do at the Zoo Train ride etc could spend a full day without much trouble.
good trip ,worth a look , need more time to do whole of zoo
Fantastic trip we were able to get really close to the wonderful Orangutans and watch them enjoy their breakfast as we enjoyed ours. We also had time to walk around the zoo which is well worth doing as there are no cages and you can get very close to the animals. Our guide was a natural comedian who entertained us there and back. A great trip!
Lovely way to enjoy a close up view of the Orangutans. The photos taken by the zoo are very expensive, but they happily take a photo with your own camera or phone. Breakfast was good, plenty of options to choose from.

OMG,this was fantastic. Only problem was that the food available for Breakfast was not restocked, so if you were the last bus in, by the time you got your photo taken, food was limited. This needs to be corrected. The Orangutans were cute, especially the little baby which was shown to us. The Zoo is well presented, many an animal or bird to see. Very good and the food area was well setup expecially the Ice cream shop. A must do.
LOVED IT!! Pick up was smooth and punctual. Arrived at the zoo for a great breakfast buffet which still allowed for time to line up for a photo with the orangutans. The photo itself was a little disappointing as my son's head covered one of the orangutans and the other wasn't looking. A little bit of positioning from the photographer would have been beneficial. We stayed at the zoo for the rest of the day so our transfer back to the hotel was not used. A taxi was easy to access and was reasonably priced.
We had the best time- Sunny was the best guide we have ever had, and the breakfast with Orangutans is a must!
A great experience. Tour guide very helpful and informative. Prompt pick up and efficient handling of tour. Thankyou

I have visited Singapore Zoo on 3 occasions but the highlight will always be Breakfast with the Orangutans. Whether you are 8 or 80 it is a very special place to visit. Tour guide was excellent and very informative.
Well organised tour. Collection from hotel was smooth and friendly. Very much enjoyed our breakfast with Orangutans. We opted to extend our zoo visit and made our own way back to the hotel. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful experience getting so close to the Orangutans like we did. The keepers/talk that is on during the breakfast is very informative and just watching the Orangutans interact is breath taking, let alone being able to get that close to them. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of variety of food to choose from. The zoo itself is just magical! The tram definitely helps get around and the shows that are put on are definitely worth a visit, especially the elephants! The zoo also has lockers to store your things to save carrying it round with you all day and water dispensers throughout the zoo to fill up your water bottle. Very well thought out zoo and wonderful trainers.
Breakfast with the Orangutans was great, we did get there late due to an accident on the freeway, which meant we were very rushed when we got to the zoo, late for Breaky and the Orangutans were already out and waiting for us. We did however get our photos and breakfast too. The variety of food was excellent and we all had plenty to eat. Then we had photos, all happened rather quick. After we took the train ride around the zoo, then walked around a little, before returning to the bus back to the city. I would certainly go just to get close to the amazing Orangutans.
Pick up on time. Breakfast was good. Orangutans were very impressive. Mother with 6mth old baby, older infant and 2 others. Plenty of time to have photos taken. Zoo takes photos also will take on your own camera
Recomend this tour.
Loved the zoo and our orangutan breakfast, they are so cute, got us close with a snake too. Zoo is so lovely for a zoo, we had a a lemur follow us around for a while too. Whilst there we went into the next door river safari also to see the pandas, loved the manatees too , will revisit if we have time on our next visit march 2018
Singapore zoo is one of the best zoo I have visited, clean and animals look happy and healthy, the orangutans were the highlight
Brilliant time with the orangutans food was good, the zoo is very small so two hours I feel is enough
I booked to have breakfast with the orangutans and was very impressed from start to finish. I was contacted by the local guide advising that I would be picked up from my hotel at 8am, and they arrived on time with a shuttle mini bus to take me into China Town which was the central hub for all the coaches. We were given coloured stickers according to which tour group we were with and then boarded our coach to the zoo. Our guide was very informative and when we arrived at the zoo, she went to get the entrance tickets and then came with those of us who had booked breakfast.
After reading some of the reviews, I was prepared to not have much time for breakfast and for there not be a lot of food, but I couldn't fault a thing. It was a huge buffet breakfast catering for all nationalities, with hot and cold food, drinks and plenty of fruit. I had more than enough time to eat before the orangutans joined us and sat very close to the table where we were so I was able to take lots of photographs. You can also have your photo taken with them, and whilst they have a professional photographer and try to sell you the photos, they are more than happy to take pictures with your own camera.
This is a morning trip and our guide said that the coach would leave at 11.45am, but gave us other options if we wanted to stay longer. There is a regular shuttle bus to the nearest MRT or there is a coach at 2.30pm and 4.30pm which only costs 6 and drops off at the main city centre hotels. I chose the latter option as I didn't want to be rushed, and therefore benefited from watching the polar bear being fed and I also went to see the elephants and was able to feed them.
It's a wonderful zoo and there are lots of shows so I would strongly recommend staying and making your own way back.
Wow this was a great day, very organised and timely, we got picked up from our hotel and taken to the Zoo, breakfast was surprisingly delicious and plentiful. The only thing is that the you don't get much time at the zoo so we decided to take a bus back there are heaps there to the city so we didn't have to rush around the Zoo.
