Our tour was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was Brook, and she made sure to not only tell us a ton of information about the landscape, the local culture, and the history, but she made it very personal too by telling us a bit about her move to Alaska and how different it is to actually live there. She gave us a ton of wonderful recommendations about where to find certain things around town as well!
She stopped at so many wonderful spots and made sure you not only knew a lot of great information, but that you got great photos to remember your trip as well!
I will say that I was super excited to do the dog sled ride, but it was not what I expected... I wish I had just spent more time in the puppy and retired dog area. The ride itself was only about 10 minutes if that, and we got a little extra presentation and information about dog sledding. Not sure if it was worth it, but we had a great time!
We had Brooke as a tour guide. She had a lot of energy and knowledge of the area. The scenery was beautiful. Would highly recommend.
Jessie was excellent in narrating history and information about the area, Very informative and good tour guide Nice day
Great experience, very scenic and informative. Just wished we would have had more time in town to explore once we got back from the Yukon but that's not Viator's fault. We just need to go back because we're not finished there yet: Wonderful tour guide and just a 5-star day. Great weather too!
Beautiful - this trip made our entire stay while on vacation in Alaska! We saw bears that was so exciting. We saw views that were amazing. We loved this tour! Totally worth it. I would do it again, with my husband one day. Also, we loved that we were able to capture more stamps in our passports!
Brooke was great and so informative about things in the Yukon. She showed us amazing things and we took great pictures. Lunch was included at Caribou Crossing and the donuts were fantastic and we got to play with the Husky puppies. Recommend this trip it is a great price for amount of time and things we saw.
Great trip. Very informative and interesting guide. Photo stops at every opportunity.
This started off a bit rough as it was so rainy and foggy, you couldn't see anything out the window. However, once the weather cleared, we could see beautiful Alaska and it was a great day. Our tour guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He did his best to show us a good time. Everyone in the group was a happy camper.
This tour was exceptional! Our tour guide Mike was awesome!! Our lunch at the sled dog training camp was better then we got on the ship. I highly recommend this tour
This tour truly was amazing
Smaller group than the ones offered by the cruise line making it more personal. Lots of pictures opportunities. We were provided with clean facilities to take regular bathroom breaks. Guide knew a lot about the areas we went to but wish they would provide a and #34;spotter and #34;
This was an amazing trip. Our guide, Brooke, was wonderful and so informative. The stops we made were awesome. I would highly recommend this tour. The price is very affordable!
Absolutely worth every single penny! For the price I could not believe everything we got to see and do on this tour. We had Conner who was fantastic! I am seriously suprised how cheap this tour was in compared to the train ride. We went with this tour because it allowed us to get on and off the bus!
5 stars all the way had a great time and the tour guide Elizabeth was excellent
Best tour ever! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and super excited about the subject of the gold rush/Yukon miners/Canadian history concerning the same. She involved my girls at every turn and we were able to see flora, fauna of the area. So great!
I enjoyed this trip very much. The sightseeing was fabulous and the driver was very knowledgeable.
Terrific excursion. Small bus, small group and many opportunities to stop, take photos, breathe the pure mountain air and soak up the magnificent surroundings. Lots of variety: steep gorges, high passes tundra!, stunning lakes, awe-inspiring mountains, Alaskan husky dogsled teams, and the world's smallest desert. BBQ chicken lunch was good too. Interesting and amusing commentary throughout there's a fine line between being over entertaining and educational, and our guide/driver Mike hit the balance exactly right. Thanks, Mike!
Our day was wonderful. The tour was well organized, the coach comfortable and our guide, Brooke, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Even the weather was fantastic. We would recommend this tour.
I did not find the town of Skagway particularly interesting, but I enjoyed the tour to the surrounding areas very much. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and friendly. He spent the time very efficiently and made many stops so that we could enjoy different types of scenery and take photos. This area is fascinating if you are interested in geology and different types of plants in different climate and altitude. The place we stopped for lunch was also nice. The meal was simple but was tasty and the servers were very friendly. There are small museums and the area you can pet huskies. I highly recommend the tour.
The trip was wonderful with all the stops and scenery. Beverly was our guide and she was very informative.
Amazing trip beautiful scenery but we did have great weather for the Yukon. Highlight was the Emerald Lake. Food at Carcross was quite basic either chicken with coleslaw and potatoes or dall and rice. My dairy intolerant vegan daughter who does not like spicy food struggled. Afterwards driver stopped at Carcross there is a lovely vegan cafe there with everything you could need if you have dietary needs which we found that the driver did not know about. He does now! A very long drive, around 3 hours without any access to a toilet, it would be better if buses were upgraded with toilets onboard.

Fantastic scenery. Our tour guide, Connor was very knowledgeable and wonderful. We enjoyed the tour very much.
This was the best of the three tours we took this trip by far. Our guide Tyler was entertaining and knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to see several bears, eagles, and a family of six mountain goats.
