Really enjoyed this tour, worthwhile doing in Skagway as you see everything and the tour guide Candice was terrific.
Can recommend and very reasonable priced for what you get.
Our Shore Excursion at Skagway was a great experience, our tour guide made the trip fun and gave us a real good time as we explored the area. Her in sites of the local history was informative as well as entertaining.
Enjoyed learning about the city and driving over White Mountain Pass. Guide had lots of information to share with us. Would recommend
Excellent way to see the Alaskan countryside at a reasonable price. Friendly, helpful guide with a good sense of humour.
Tour guide/driver at the best we can expect. Excellent service attitude. History and stories about the place visits were well told. Tried his best to give us opportunities to take photos at all the stops.
We had a wonderful experience with this tour. The tour guide, Jessica, who is also the bus driver, greeted us right after we got off the ship. She was very pleasant and narrated for us throughout the trip. We learned a lot about the history of Alaska, Skagway and the Gold Rush. We made several stops along the way including a short hike to the beautiful Lower Reid Fall. I highly recommended taking the bus instead of the train to explore the town and go up the White Pass. There are more stops with the bus where you can get out and take picture
We had a nice tour up to the White Pass. It was much more economical for our family than taking the steam train. Loved the hike to the waterfall.
Wonderful tour. Loved all the history and stories. Made our trip great. Thank you..
This was a great half day tour shore excursion and our guide Beverley made sure we were well informed the whole way and that we learnt as much as we could about the area. Skagway is a beautiful little town, especially at this time in the summer and the tour started with a look at the historic cemetery before heading up Whites Pass and over the border into Canada. There was plenty of photo stops and the scenery is spectacular. The tour has us back in town at lunch time and then we had plenty of time to wander around the shops and take the train ride up the pass which is also spectacular and a must do. The trip worked in well with our ship and I'd recommend it to anyone who didn't want to do the more energetic options. - Be sure you take your passport with you as you cross the border into British Columbia and passports are checked at the US border.
The only thing we couldn't change was the low ceiling and overcast. Saw things going by small bus you wouldn't see from the train. Highly recommend.
We chose this shore excursion because of cost. Train ride up the pass for 4 people would have been 800 and the cruise didn't offer anything like it for the same cost. This tour was under 50 per person and we still got to see many sights that the train ride would have shown us. This tour was perfect in price and length and we still had time and money to spend in town.
We lucked out and had a great weather day for early June. Tomas was our guide and had a wealth of knowledge. You could tell his passion for the history of Alaska his experience as a teacher showed in his love of learning and humor. The quick walk through the cemetery and up to the waterfall was lovely. Stops on the pass were perfect and the scenery was amazing. Our guide was excellent with great Alaskan stories about history and current life in Skagway. Tomas even timed the return so we could get pictures of the train across the valley. The stop at the Welcome to Alaska sign for a family photo was excellent. The tour will drop you in town or at the ship - we opted for in town and had a great fish lunch. If you aren't taking the train I highly recommend this tour.
Great tour! We had 4 or 5 stops to get out it was sort of cold out in May and admire the views, a kind and interesting driver/host in a short tour. We enjoyed scooping up glacier fresh water from a waterfall beside the highway and the walk and photo op in the graveyard. I was happy to spend a few hours on a tour then have time to explore on our own.
Wonderful tour guide! Personable, funny and well informed. Even rescued a stranded driver up on the mountain.
Jessica gave us the personal touch with our own private tour for 8. She was very engaging and shared much local flavor. The views were spectacular, I especially loved the waterfall!
Had a great time! Beverly was a great guide. She was funny as well as informative. Loved the small bus. Easy to load and unload. Lots of individual attention.

Great way to see Skagway and the white pass is taking the train isn't your cup of tea. Good sized group and very responsive guide.
Great value for the money! Very scenic and allowed for many stops for picture taking. Stopped at an unusual cemetary but I only wished we were informed that there was a waterfall at the top which only a few persons got to see. Skagway was beautiful and a great alternative tour to the train ride at half the cost! I had no regrets about my choice for this tour.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience on this excursion. Our tour guide, Connor, was pleasant, informative and patient. We could not have asked for better weather. The temperature was comfortable, and the sky was clear and blue. We made several stops along the way, which gave us the opportunity to take pictures and really enjoy the sights. We had a memorable experience!
What a beautiful place. Naturally stunning with vistas second to none. Tabitha was both informative and amusing during our tour. A great way to see a most wonderful part of our world.
My wife and I really enjoyed the tour even if it was foggy JJ was very informative and fun to have as a tour guide. Enjoyed getting out and seeing the water fall and the history of Skagway, what and amazing history and some of the people that were in the town. Thanks again to JJ for a wonderful time. I would recommend this tour for any and everyone.
Tomas was a great tour guide. Very informative and great sense of humor. Nice size of group- much better than big bus.
