If you take one tour, this should be it! The scenery and guides were awesome. The bus was comfortable and a great way to travel on this tour.

Wow this was the best day ever. We had a very informative guide who gave us all sorts of general information about Iceland. The National Park was spectacular, remote and beautiful. The cave was good fun. The silence eerie. The guide got us to turn off all our torches and then he sang a song to us, it was magical. The coastal scenery was very dramatic.

I wish I could remember our tour guide's name. He was wonderful--knowledgeable, patient hello, stragglers!, and clearly in love with his magical country. This tour took us from the beach of Ytri Tunga where we saw some seals hanging out on the rocks, to the coastal town of Arnarstapi where I captured one of my favorite photos, to a short tour of a cave, and lastly to a combo mountain/waterfall photo op at Kirkjufell. Considering the variety of landscape, I'd say this was the perfect tour to end our Iceland vacation. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time! The tour guide was excellent and my students had a lot of fun down in the cave, and also seeing all of the wildlife by the shore. Definitely a great excursion if you are in Iceland for a short time.

Incredible, but very physical, tour. The cave exploration required a walk of 127 stairs down and the same number up on a tightly winding staircase. Likewise, hikes to most other areas, including beautiful black beaches, were over unpaved rock strewn paths. If you are physically fit, don't miss it.

This Grayline tour is amazing and we have a sunny day, can't ask for more. Tour guide Tanja was very attentive and helped us to take photos. A job well done and exceeded expectation.

This was a great day trip with many, many stops. Lots to see from glacier mountain, to jagged coastline to volcano cave walk. The driver was very informative as he gave many an interesting story, historical, mythical, as well as geographical.

It's long drive along the amazing coastline of west island. Beautiful landscape and the cave explore to 35 meters under ground is very different experience.

I loved the black beach, the walk along the cliffs and the trip into the caverns. Get a seat on the right side of the bus.

The pictures on here do not do this trip justice. The rock formations you see are picture perfect once you are in the national park area, and you can easily spend a whole day here walking the norther and southern shore taking pictures or just taking in the view. A couple of other stops include a lava tube cave which was interesting, and a nice experience to be down there in total darkness for a couple of minutes. A couple of times I thought the day was done and we ended up making some more quick stops at waterfalls and other places that make for nice pictures. A very complete day and a must do if you have a few days in Iceland.

A truly amazing day! Nature ruled the day and we were exposed to the raw and natural beauty of Iceland.Breathtaking vistas over lava strewn fields with moss and some grazing sheep, snow covered dormanr volcanoes in the distance, rugged yet picturesque coastlines. The glacier is only seen from a distance but it is impressive. Waterfalls roaring down barren hillsides and the coast is dreamlike. A long day which left one with sensory overland of the best type.

This bus tour followed the coastline and a chain of gorgeous mountains that led us to Snaefellsjokull and the National Park. Our guide was charming and the scenery spectacular. As an older woman, I appreciated the frequent bathroom stops and the chance to stretch our legs. We stopped for lunch at a small restaurant near the stunning coast, then strolled through arctic tern nesting grounds to the bluffs overlooking the ocean. While walking along the path near the edge of the bluffs, we saw a breaching orca whale. We loved the tour and were very happy we had chosen it.

I thought this tour was fantastic. The scenery is spectacular and one sees a variety of different landscapes from pleasant valleys with sheep, to lava fields, to spectacular cliffs, and the most spectacular of all, the glacier. There were only a few people on this trip so the bus was small. The trip was well designed and the guide was excellent. The tour was also very punctual about hotel pick-up. If you like beautiful scenery, the tour is very worthwhile.

This was a great tour of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, very busy with many stops. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and it was great to hear stories from the Sagas as we drove through these beautiful landscapes.

Nice trip to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. This excursion was an ideal trip for the nature enthusiast, such as me. Unfortunately, it rained poorly during the time we took this trip in beginning of August. The weather wasnt anything that could be helped, but we managed as best we could. On a clear day, it wouldve been an excellent walk on the beaches and around Snaefellsnes National Park. However, I did enjoy the views of the coast along Arnarstapi. There were seabirds nesting on the cliffs. Our lunch stop was at Primus Café in Hellnar. Its a cozy café with a small menu. Try the plokkfiskur fish stew! Tastes better than it looks. I was impressed. Also, try the lamb soup!

After being sidelined by the weather, I would say the highlight of this tour would be Vatnshellir Cave. Our group met our cave guide at Snaefellsnes National Park, where we embarked on our journey to the center of the earth. We walked down a long spiral staircase to reach the lava tube. Had it not been for our flashlights, we wouldve been in complete darkness. There was a moment where we were invited to turn off our flashlights and experience the darkness. It was eerie, yet beautiful. FYI this is strictly a nature tour so, there are no opportunities for souvenir shopping, unless you count the restroom/coffee area stop along the way. My advice be advised that the cave tour requires walking up and down spiral staircases and walking on uneven, rocky surfaces, so if you have difficulty doing these things, this tour may not be for you. Also, dress in layers as the temp in the cave tends to be some degrees colder. This was a fun tour. Would recommend it on good weather though.

excellent tour, but a bit long and breaks were not evenly spread. No loos in some places. After 12 hours we were exhausted! for young folk its OK - they can cope, but if you don't warn older folk they will also join up.

You spend a lot of time on the tour bus, but the scenery is lovely. We saw one seal at the beach. We enjoyed the rock formations and cave. Take a jacket and umbrella.
