Learn to eat like a local on a 3-hour walking tour through Sofia’s food and culture, with a traditional Bulgarian breakfast. Stroll past the city’s most iconic sights while chatting with your local guide, then step into a neighborhood café to try savory banitsa pastries with ayran, a lightly-fermented yogurt drink. Walk though a vibrant food market in the heart of the old city, pass an open-air book market, and finish your trip through Bulgaria's food scene with baklava and boza at a celebrated pastry shop.
Excellent guide - very knowledgeable on Roman ruins/excavations. Cobblestone streets hard to walk on. Sofia is hidden gem - beautiful flowers, gardens and old buildings/churches
Great tour with a knowledgeable guide. Lots of information on the city, history and culture. Therefore, I wouldn't call it a 'Food Tour' since we only stopped at one bakery. I would have liked to taste a little bite more some of the local food.
The tour was alright.. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. His English was perfect! My only issue was that some of his facts were a little off..
We also didn't get the Aryan or baklava which were also supposed to be included... All in all a fun day out.. Would probably recommend to others..
