This tour was well worth the cost. The views from anacaori where breathtaking.
The boat tour to the grottos is a must do.
Josifine was amazing, great information! Highly recommend the lift to the top of Ana Capri, takes about 20 minutes each way. In the winter months all the good shops of Capri were closed, but there are no crowds.
We spent 14 days in Italy, and this tour was my favorite of all the tours we took. It must be the most beautiful island and water I have ever seen. Our guide Vincente was very knowledgeable and personable. If I ever get to return to Italy, I would definitely go to Capri again.
Superb trip and thanks to our guide Vincenzo whose commentary was great. Sea levels were such that we could not get to visit the blue grotto but the boat trip around the island was the real highlight.
To not do a boat tour around the island you will miss the best part of Capri!

This was a very enjoyable tour. Our guide Vincenzo was fantastic! Be aware that the advertised cruise over to the island in a jet boat is misleading. The jet boat is a high speed public ferry teaming with passengers. Otherwise, the tour was well worth it. We arrived at Capri and was shuttled up to Anacapri where we had about one hour including a brief walking tour. We rode the chairlift about 15 minutes to the top of Monte Solaro, the highest peak on the island. What an incredible view! Then back down to Capri town for a quick lunch 14 Euros each as part of the tour. A short guided walking tour around Capri town, and then a one hour boat ride around the island 15 Euros each. We saw the White Grotto, Green Grotto and Blue Grotto did not include entering, and the Faraglioni rocks. We had a spectacular ride and crew! Town was jammed packed with tourists. If we were to go again, we would probably pick a month in late fall or early spring to avoid the crowds.
Our tour Vencenzo was a remarkable informative guide with a loverly sense of humour most enjoyable day
Trip was incredible. Combining tickets for ferry and Anacapri made it easier for first time there. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a little more time in Anacapri because the cable ride line was so long that we could not see Anacapri and also have that experience
The day before we were due to travel the forecast was quite grim but luckily Frank the hotel receptionist at Hotel Minerva came to our rescue.I had been trying to contact the agent but ,it would appear, was using the wrong code.Frank kindly contacted the company and they not only offered an alternative day but offered to pick us up at the hotel thus saving us 15 Euros in taxi fares.
The day of travel was glorious and our guide Paolo was very well organised.
It is quite a short trip to Capri by boat but we stopped along the way to view the Blue Grotto_closed to entry because of heavy rains the day before and the Faraglioni rocks.
On arrival we headed to Anacapri by bus. After a brief tour we had time to ourselves and having been to the island before we used the opportunity to visit a couple of less familiar places like the tiny church and catholic cemetery. If you wish to visit Gracie Fields grave this is NOT the cemetery to visit. She is buried in the protestant cemetery nearer the town of Capri.
I would recommend that you take the opportunity whilst in Anacapri to take the chairlift to the highest peak in Capri, the views are truly amazing.
A short walk back to the bus and down to the main town for lunch and more sightseeing.
Capri town was heaving with tourists, perhaps because the day before had been inclement,if not the volume of tourists has increased considerably since our last visit four years ago.
Despite the influx of tourists Capri still has that magical quality and really is a must visit place.
Thanks to Paolo having an arrangement with a local restaurant we had a three course meal including a glass of wine for 12 euros each
and the cost of the boatride around the island well worth takingwas very reasonable.
An excellent trip that I would highly recommend.
Great tour from Sorrento and Tonino provided several options and activities once we got to the island of Capri. The bus from Marina Grande to the village of Anacapri was extremely convenient. There Tonino suggested the chair lift to Mt. Solero. Later in the town of Capri, he gave great suggestions on other tours including the boat tour of around the entire island. He spoke honestly about the Blue Grotto on how it's not entirely worth it and we extremely appreciate that. Well done Tonino!
I've read other Viator reviews and heard about the famous tour guide Pepe. Indeed. He was such a wonderful tour guide to make a chaos day to be so enjoyable. This is my third time at Capri. So I had pretty good idea what to expect. A tour saved loads of energy of doing logistic issues. The ferry / port was packed with people and very confusing. My friends went to Capri on their own by taking the ferry, but actually ended up not enjoying that much. They were trying to figure out where to take bus, where to go, felt the pain about the taxi cost. I ended up seeing a lot more than they did. Pepe made everything much easier. I listened to his recommendations about extra view points, which cost a few Euro more, but so worth it. The only painful part was the early departure.
Great tour! Fun filled day on Capri tour. Pepe made excellent suggestions on options available lift to top of Anacapri and boat tour
Around Capri highly recommended,,

Fabio was awesome!! very nice experience. Very much worth it!!!
This tour was wonderful. We loved our guide Pepe. He was organized and had a great sense of humor. This tour begins by riding on a public ferry with our guide to Capri. There we board a bus to anacapri for an informative tour of the island. Anacapri is definitely worth a visit. A very enjoyable day!
Very enjoyable trip even though we had an early start which was good because we saw a lot before it got busy. Our guide Pepe was excellent and very knowledgeable and we had a lovely boat trip at the end of the day around the island.
A brilliant tour. Highly reccommended. A bIt of an early start but it was nice arriving at Sorrento port early before the crowds. We found a guide Pepe easily who grouped us all together and gave us a brief outline of what to expect for the day. Pepe is very engaging and amusing. Nice boat trip to Capri. Pepe explained that we would be going straight to Annacapri to beat the crowds for those wanting to use the chairlift to the top. This is a must do. The views are absolutely breathtaking. After a quick lunch we travelled back down the Oh My God Road named for a reason! back to Capri. A chance then for a further hour or so walk or a trip around the island by boat or a trip to the blue grotto or for those who didnt want those you can just mooch around the shops, squares and alleways. The whole trip is a photographers dream. We returned to Sorrento around 5.00pm. All in all a most enjoyable and memorable day.
We are an adult family of 3 and this tour was the highlight of our time in Italy. We had an amazing guide in Vincenzo who was an absolute fountain of knowledge and advice. A lot was packed into one day. The atmosphere was great and the shops delightful.
This is a Just Do It special - great scenery, organisation and experiences with a top guide.
Absolutely loved our day in Capri! The island is so beautiful and our tour guide was very helpful in showing us around.
Pepe was our tour guide and did an excellent job. He balanced organized tours with free time throughout the day. Although the weather did not cooperate for an around Capri boat ride very choppy, we still enjoyed our visit and Pepe's tour guidance.
This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Such a beautiful island. A small group tour in small mini vans, there is only one road on the island, but it's a great way to see everything. You also get free time to wonder around the little villages, buy gifts and even get handmade sandles made. You can choose to do a boat tour around the island , like we did, and get even more beautiful photos, or stay and explore some more. Lovely cafes and restuarants for lunch and plenty of Gelato. Just a great day.
