Amazing experience which is great for young groups. The speedboat is a little small but still has plenty of room to stretch your legs out, and the music created a great atmosphere to the day. A little criticism is that I think there is too much time spent on the island itself as hardly anyone on the boat seems to be bothered about going inland and instead spend the time sunbathing and swimming- I personally would rather have seen more grottos during this time . Also, don't rely on visiting the blue grotto as the queue is always big and you'll have to come to an agreement with the rest of the people on your boat as to whether you skip it or join the queue you're not the only person on the boat so their vote might outnumber you
Nevertheless, the company is brilliant and very friendly- we were running late due to delays on public transport but after phoning, the company organised for a vehicle to come and pick us up so we wouldn't miss the boat. We were sharing the boat with a group of Spanish girls and a few couples, and we all got along great which made the experience even better! During the trip, we got a tour of Capri and were able to jump off the boat for a little swim in the beautiful waters, before eating a sandwich for lunch. Sadly, the blue grotto was very busy so it was recommended that we spend the hour that would've been in the queue, looking at other things instead. This was definitely worth it though as the queuing boats were on very choppy waters which would've made me queasy and it also meant we could look at other, more quiet grottos. Plenty of soft drinks are available throughout the day so you never get too hot, but lunch is only a sandwich, unless you buy more food on the island. You spend around 3 hours on land which I happily spent swimming in the sea and drinking cocktails where you have the option to take a boat to the blue grotto if you missed it or go further into the island. On the boat journey back, we even happened to see dolphins swim nearby- perfect! We used this opportunity to try the limoncello offered to us on the boat, so we got a perfect view. To finish the day, everyone gets a turn on the banana boat which is a lot of fun, but as soon as you fall off, you're not allowed on again which is a bit sad for those who hadn't done it before.
Overall, a perfect day and I made lots of friends who I shall never forget! Definitely more suited for younger people. Speedboat, music and limoncello- perfect!
The day I spent on this tour was one of the best days of my life! We got to see everything, the grottos, the Amalfi Coast, Capri - everything! Our guide was fun and we had a great time with other under 30-somethings. Our guide even took us to a waterfall, gave us drinks and took us tubing! Amazing!!
Our tour was amazing. Our captain Fiorina was very knowledgable and informative. The tour allowed us sufficient time to swim, spend close to 4 hours in Capri and do the banana boat. Highly recommend it and make sure to ask for Fiorina!
Brilliant day out. Lovely boat driver/guide, who really went out of her way to make it a fun day. The only downside was that the advertised snorkelling did not happen, which was one of the reasons we booked. But for those who wanted to explore Capri it would have been perfect.
pro and #39;s- amazing boat ride with pumping music, shown around the entire island (grottos aswell), friendly skipper with good knowledge.
Cons- not everyone got snorkel gear (ment to be included), not enough time to explore the island.
Overall I loved it.
Hotel pick up was great. Skipper was friendly. Boat was on the smaller side for 12 people. Several beers and one sandwich were good. Really enjoyed the tours of the grottos and swimming in the blue grotto. We were dropped off on the island around 1pm and pick up was scheduled for 5pm. This was a little too long for us on the island. Would have preferred more time on the water. The banana ride was offered in the evening, just as the tour was ending. We were too tired and it was on the cooler side by this time so we opted out of the banana ride.
A larger boat or fewer people, plus more time on the water would make this an excellent tour.
Not happy with this at all. Firstly Viator did not mention anything about this tour being and UNDER 30's tour. The tours was sold as such to all others that joined so was entirely 20-22 year olds so falsely advertising as I am double the age group. This was not a small boat but a rubber dingy which barely fitted the 12 people so we got soaked if you could find somewhere to perch and we did not visit all sites mentioned with no guide to actually explain anything as although the driver was lovely could barely speak English. The Tour company were great but there is a huge misunderstaning on what is on offer.
