Nice trip, enough time in Pompeii. Things were a little disorganized in the morning, but that improved over the course of the day.

3 star rating: Worth doing October 2016

I think I would recommend someone make this trip on their own, using a tour book or Rick Steeves audio tour. Although it was informative and interesting, the group was larger than we wanted and the guide was a bit to chatty.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better October 2015

A lot of our precious tour time was dealing with delays: we left 25 mins late, didn't have enough headsets on board and then had to wait in line to purchase tix. Other tour groups walked right past us with tix in hand. The guide was fine, but we lost a lot of unnecessary time waiting. Disappointed
