Kazoo Factory Tour & Museum

I learned more about Kazoos in 45-minutes than I ever thought possible. The associates were great! They were friendly and joked along with us during the entire tour. This is a fun stop for any one; any age! Stop in if you're in the Beaufort area.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Kazoo Factory! Our tour guide was excellent, so entertaining and enthusiastic! It was fun to make a kazoo and purchase a bag of “Happy Birthday”kazoos to add a fun addition to our family’s Birthday celebrations! We are spreading the word to our friends! 🥳

The four of us were spending some time in Beaufort, and found their place in a search of “things to do”. So happy we found it! We had a really fun tour with Boone who was enthusiastic and enjoyable, while explaining the process of making kazoos and demonstrating the different kazoos and attachments and what sounds they produced. We really enjoyed the whistles and sound effects as well. We were the only ones in attendance so we felt like we had the benefit of a private tour for only $9 each! We each went home with our own kazoo and horn attachment. We would highly recommend this tour that only takes a total of an hour. Thanks Boone and Kazoobie Kazoo for a fun experience!

Eight of us went and we all had a great time! The first video wasn’t too good but the second was very cute and informative. Our tour guide, Boone, was perfect! Energetic and animated and he clearly loves the kazoo factory and shared the history of kazoos and then demonstrated several different kazoos, kazoo accessories - including an electric kazoo! - and all kinds of whistles. It was really interesting. Then we went to see how the kazoos are assembled. It is amazing that each is the million kazoos that are made each year are manually touched. At the end we got a kazoo of our color choice and even got to do the final step of the kazoo assembly process. The pictures I attached are of little kazoo people that one of the employees makes. The gift shop sells kazoos and all the accessories and also other musical instruments like harmonicas, tambourines, and maracas. The child inside you will love this. Go and have fun! We sure did! (And during COVID, we felt very very safe.).

Our guide made it very fun! It was all hand work since they get the plastic pre-molded. Worth a stop.

Sarah was a great tour guide!! We had a lot of fun and learned so much!! Definitely something fun to do with the kids, and you even get to make your own kazoo at the end. Kids had a blast, and so did the adults!!

Our tour guide, Sarah, was very knowledgeable and funny! We learned so much about kazoos and other instruments (like slide whistles and harmonicas). I highly recommend this tour. The movies at the beginning were hilarious. My middle son went with a harmonica at the gift shop and is officially enthralled with YouTube videos and is teaching himself how to play. Lots to learn and building your own kazoo is definitely a must do!

This was a cute little tour of small operations of making kazoos. There’s a one room museum and a video followed by a walk into showing us how to make a kazoo. We had a demonstration of different kazoos. It was $9 pp and we got or to keep a kazoo. There’s a gift shop at the end. My husband has a ball playing his kazoo and grandkids enjoyed their gift of a CB kazoo!

Boone was our tour guide. He was very entertaining and especially patient with our talkative and inquisitive 8 year old grandson. We have enjoyed our kazoos and slide whistle. Planning to start a family band and March in parades!!
