Enjoyed the whole experience. The commentary in the style of Sir Walter Scott really added to the experience for me. Apart from the house there are the gardens and a number of walks plus a picnic area. Also enjoyed the the exhibition in the ticket area. We had intended to try the cafe however there was a massive queue so went into Melrose instead. Would have liked to see upstairs if only for the views and a bedroom upstairs styled in the period would have been interesting to see.
