Tanja was a great tour guide. My dad and I were the only 2 people on the tour, and we really enjoyed the personal attention. She was very personable and knowledgeable. When we asked for a public restroom, she went the extra mile to take us to a restaurant she did tours at to let us use their restroom. She also recommended a wonderful restaurant that had very reasonable prices with delicious, authentic food. We really felt we had the true Split experience!
My guide Ina was amazing. She is a archeologist, so very indepth. I loved it.
This was a great tour. Lucia did a wonderful job with a large group over 20 that morning in a crowded town. Unfortunately the crowds do detract from the overall experience, but not the fault of the tour. She taught us history , way of life and architectural features in a succinct and delightful manner. Even got some shopping, eating and sightseeing tips to use in the afternoon. I would do this again!
Brilliant! Highly informative, informal and enjoyable. Highly recommend as a start to your holiday.
Mijo was excellent. Good combination of history/facts and story telling.
Excellent tour. Guide was very pleasant and engaging. She was very passionate about the history of the city and area.
My girlfriend and I did this one as a german guided tour. Our guide was Natasa and we were lucky to be the only ones on that tour :.
Natasa did a very good job. She gave a lot of facts about the old city of Split and answered all our questions very patiently. Natasa showed us very interesting places, not only the walls and buildings which were included in the tour, she also showed some market places around the old city and shops e.g. a gallery with modern art and the shop, where they sell handmade ties, because the croatian people invented the tie :D.
We definitely recommend this tour and Natasa as the tour guide and hope you will enjoy the Split Walking Tour as much as we did!
Wonderful! Our guide, Lucia, was very knowledgable and passionate about the history of Split. She made the walking trip in the small area of Diocletian Palace both educating and entertaining. Highly recommended!
The Diocletian Palace is a real delight to see and learn about. The guide was knowledgable, entusiastisc about local hystorique and very helpful. A tour of exceptional inerest and value of historical perspective.
We booked this two hour walking tour to help us get our bearings in a new city. Our tour host Olga was friendly, informative and helpful with suggesting ongoing activities and places to eat. There are many steps and uneven pavements in 'old town' Split so this might not be suitable for people with reduced mobility. However everyone in our group of 4 enjoyed the tour plus it gave us future ideas for ongoing activities. Well done Olga
My entire family of 4 2 adults, 16yo and 13yo boys thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour of Diocletions Palace. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the Palace and the different styles of architecture used. She took the time to answer any and all questions. I would highly recommend taking the tour early in your stay as we revisited a number of the places she showed us.
Very interesting and informative tour covering the history of split and Diocletian Palace. We were so lucky to be the only 2 on the tour so we had a private tour by default. Our guide Darko was very knowledgable and friendly and kept us interested throughout . I would highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us about the history of the region in engaging vibrant way. The 'times 'of the historical facts became more real.
He was also not disgruntled at having to take us on a tour in the rain.
Definitely a guide to keep
Split was the highlight of our holiday and all credit must go to our incredibly tour guide Danko. In a 90 minute walking tour he gave us a wonderful insight into the history, culture and economy of this beautiful country. In fact anything else we wanted to know about Croatia in general and Split in particular . His knowledge was breath-taking and he delivered it with humour and patience. Our group on the day was mixed in ages and interests and without exception the comments at the end of the tour confirmed that everyone had enjoyed it. This tour has something for everyone and I recommend it without reservation.
Danko was great showing us places where Game of Thrones shot some scenes and giving some humor to Diocletian's Palace. The tiny cathedral is exquisite .
I took this tour the third day I was in Split due to scheduling conflicts but it was still still helpful.
Had an amazing time on this tour. Our guide, Darko, was friendly, funny, very easy to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable about Split History. He even knew all about Game of Thrones and which scenes were filmed in different places in the old town. 10/10 would recommend.

It was one of the best walking tours we have ever had. Our guide Darko showed the historic Split in a very interesting way. He let us be part of his special and amazing places.
A most interesting and informative tour of this fascinating city. Worth every kuna! Lucija was a brilliant guide!
Danko was a very knowledgeable and engaging guide. Learned a lot and highly recommend this tour.
Our tour was led by Lucia aka Lucy. She has both charisma and deep knowledge - and helped us better understand the history, architecture, and complex culture of Split and the surrounding area.
No one has more enthusiasm for their job than Lucia. She is the very best. This tour would be bargain at four times the cost. Just a lovely tour of the old town from someone who is very thoughtful, friendly and considerate. You'll know you've seen it all. Lucia is especially strong in the area of architecture and will point out the various origins of the different buildings. Thank you!
We booked this tour on a whim and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Our tour guide's name was Lucia/Lucy, very knowledgeable, we were impressed by her command of history and languages. She even translated some of the Latin inscriptions. A nice balance of hard historical facts and fun factoids about life in Split from ancient times to the present day. We learned a lot and still talk about the tour. Our favorite aspect was how she described the different types of architecture throughout the tour Roman, Venetian, Communist and how to recognize them.
Great value for the money, we highly recommend.
Briiliant tour the guide was terrific. Weel worth it you learn so much more about all the aspects of the town.
