What You Can Expect

Krka National Park Day Trip from Split

Swim by the waterfalls in Krka National Park on this day trip

Meet up with your guide in the center of Split to begin his action-packed history-meets-nature day trip to Šibenik and Krka National Park. In an air-conditioned coach, make the journey to historic Šibenik, learning about the history during the ride.
The oldest native Croatian town on the eastern Adriatic shore, Šibenik was first mentioned in records in the year 1066 and was once the seat of the Croatian king. Stroll the cobblestoned streets of the town, wandering down the back alleyways and lingering in the squares. Visit the cathedral of St James with your guide.
About an hour later, hop back on the coach for the ride to Krka National Park. Walk the gravel pathways of the park, as well as, the round-loop boardwalk with your guide, as you look for Dalmatian barbelgudgeon and brown trout swimming in the water. After the 90-minute guided walk, take some time to explore the park on your own. Swim in the lower lake or sit on the shore taking in the placid ambience of the place. Visit the nearby historic mill cottage, some of which have been converted into stores, eateries and workshops.
Later on, meet up with the guide again for the relaxing 60-minute ride back to Split where the tour concludes where it began earlier that day.
