What To Expect
Start your tour with pickup at your St Kitts hotel, followed by a transfer to Port Zante Marina, arriving 20 minutes before your chosen departure time. Tours are available at 8:30am, 10:45am, and 2pm.
Meet your guide and group, then listen to a short introduction to your mini-speedboats and a safety demonstration. The boats hold two people each; if you are traveling alone you will be matched with a partner. Hit the gas and zoom out to the sheltered southeast peninsula of the island, where you'll make a stop for snorkeling. Slip on the provided gear and dive in, getting an eyeful of the underwater world inhabited by native marine life. You may stop by a secluded beach that is inaccessible to larger watercraft before zipping back to Frigate Bay for some refreshments.
After your 3-hour tour, you'll be dropped back at your original departure point.

Takes snorkelling to another level:) Boats were fast but not too fast and nice to not need a boating licence to drive one.
However, this tour is not 3 hours as stated on the Viator site.

This was really fun; the boats are great and the guides did a fine job. Two heavy people were in one boat and they had trouble so this may not be a good choice if the two weigh more than 350.

Alvin and Simon did a great job! Simon dove with us in order to find interesting animals. He found two sea turtles, a bunch of lobster, and many great fish. I definitely recommend this excursion.

This is the second time to St Kitts for us. We brought family with us this time. We did this adventure in 2020 and totally enjoyed it again this trip. Alvin and Simon were our guides! So much fun!
They didn't send us out to fail.

The tour was cancelled due to windy conditions causing waves and turbulent water.
Positive, the didn't send us out to have a bad experience.
Negative, they didn't tell us until we had traveled to the beach.
Unfortunately we couldn't reschedule because we were going home.

We did this tour while on island from a cruise ship. There was some confusion as to where to meet the tour guides. The tour met inside the marina gate and we were waiting outside the marina. We had to call the tour office to find out where to go. Pick up was supposed to be at 8:15 and there was no answer at the office until 8:30. Luckily, our group was waiting for us.
When we arrived at the boats, there was a quick instruction and we were off. There is a small compartment in the forward section of the boat for your stuff. The weather was a bit windy, so the mini boats were bouncing around quite a bit. The next day we were both a bit bruised from bouncing on the waves. The snorkel spot was ok. There wasn't that much wildlife to see at that spot. We snorkeled near a shipwreck. There was some coral a few fish and an octopus. The choppy water that day may have scared off some of the fish
The ride back to the beach was much less bumpy, going into the wind. We ended up going much slower, even with the throttle at maximum. Only after we got to the end of the trip we were told that moving more forward on the boat will allow it to go faster. If you are very tall, that will be difficult to do comfortably.
After returning to the beach, there was no place to change or use the bathroom before getting back on the bus. The bus took us back to the cruise ship terminal area
I would recommend to check the weather before booking so you can have a nice day on the water.

What a fun experience. The boats were easy to drive, and just fast enough to be fun without being so fast you have to watch the power settings. The snorkeling was memorable with plenty of fish and even a sting ray. The guides were extremely personable and did a great job. ‘Light lunch’ means a small fruit box and a glass of juice which was refreshing but less than what we were thinking it would be. Overall a very pleasant experience we’d recommend.

We took the catamaran snorkel 1/2 day a few days prior to this where you snorkel on your own, which was a fantastic day as well, but we had a snorkel guide with the mini boats and it was great. He knew the reef and found sea life we would have missed. It’s a fun activity!
