Ride an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) through lush tropical forest during this 3-hour adventure in St Lucia. Following your ATV guide, get spectacular views as you ride down nature trails through rural farming communities, plantations and past historical sites. See Grande Anse Beach and the rugged Atlantic coast with a small group of other participants; this tour is limited to eleven people to ensure personalized attention from your guide.
  • 3-hour St Lucia ATV tour including transport time
  • Ride a Yamaha all-terrain vehicle through tropical Caribbean landscapes
  • Visit a working banana plantation and parts of the historical Marquis Estate
  • Take in gorgeous views of Grande Anse Beach
  • Round-trip transport from selected Castries or Gros Islet hotels included
  • Small-group tour limited to 11 ensures a more personalized experience
Following pickup at your hotel in Gros Islet or Castries, transfer to the launch point for your ATV (all-terrain vehicle) excursion.
Meet your experienced adventure guide and listen to a short safety briefing and orientation. Hop on the back of your Yamaha ATV, a full automatic vehicle that makes off-roading easy and safe.
Set out along trails with your small group of eleven people or less, first arriving at a functioning banana plantation. Learn about the operations of the farm and how banana farming was St Lucia's primary economic industry before tourism on the island picked up.
Continuing on the trails, pass locals going about their daily activities in the rural farming communities. When you reach the 18th-century Marquis Estate, enjoy stunning views over Marquis Bay. This estate and its 500-acre (202-hectare) property is also home to the ruins of a sugar mill, a water wheel, and old locomotive and a slave quarters.
Your next stop is the edge of Grande Anse Beach, where you can enjoy some refreshing local fruit juice. This gorgeous beach is a protected nesting site for leatherback and hawksbill turtles between the months of March and August. Your guide will fill you in on researchers' efforts to track the turtles and their offspring.
When your 3-hour adventure is over, board your tour vehicle for the return to your Gros Islet or Castries hotel.
Please note: a minimum of 2 people per booking is required.

Tour was great

The scenery was amazing. The photographer was busy taking pictures but we were never given the opportunity to see the pictures, not sure why he took them. When we asked to see the pictures and possibly buy them, the tour guide was not interested at all

Beautiful scenic tour
This is a fun tour glad we took it. It is a great way to visit the area away from other tourists and get a beautiful scenic tour. The guide was knowledgeable about the area. The taxi was waiting for us right off the ship and then took us to a beach and back to the boat.

We loved the experience! My dad, and teenage kids and I spent a great couple of hours in the mountains of St Lucia. The down side was that the guy running the tour was NOT on time when we were supposed to meet. I would advise contacting him for confirmation BEFORE arriving. It was more than a bit nerve racking when he wasn't at the appointed location at the appropriate time.

It was just the 2 of us and we had a blast. The views were amazing and our guide stopped several times to explain about the banana groves and turtle beach and water wheel and other things. It was a great time.

This tour was fun and informative! The guide was knowledgeable and kept a good pace for us to follow. We drove through local communities and a banana plantation. A good way to see the St. Lucia countryside.

We had a great morning out with these guys. From pick up at our hotel the driver was really friendly and informative about his Island. We got there on time short safety brief as we have done this before and then out onto the open roads in to the hills and plantations. There was only the 2 of us as it was out of season. Great trip out stops along the way and a drink. Drove back and through a stream great fun. Driver was waiting with towels and a big smile ready to take us back to our hotel. Well done and thank you guys. We will be back again for sure.

A nice tour through the banana plantations, an abandoned factor from 1860, and a stunning view of the coast from a hilltop. I would have like a little more off-road travel. Most of our tour was on blacktop, gravel roads or dirt road, with a single minor detour through a stream that was fun. Really nice scenery, and the guides were nice.
