What You Can Expect

Rainforest Adventures St Lucia Aerial Tram and Zipline Tour

St Lucia Aerial Tram

Make your way to the park located in Chassin, St.Lucia, approximately 4.6 miles (7.4km) from the cruise ship port.

Board the aerial tram, a safe open-air gondola, and take your seat. Meet your professional naturalist guide, who will answer your questions, provide entertaining anecdotes and help identify the plants and wildlife. This is a safe, fun way for the whole family to experience the rainforest surroundings.

As the 8-person tram moves quietly through the forest, enjoy the sounds of the jungle and look for colorful flowers blooming in the gigantic trees. Watch out for the native endangered parrot, the Jacquot, and agouti (a small animal related to the guinea pig) rustling around in the tropical underbrush.

Be sure to bring your camera for spectacular photos of the forest from a bird's eye view.

At the top of the mountain, exit the tram and enjoy a short guided hike through the forest. Admire the tropical plant life, towering trees and the buttress roots up close.

At first zipline platform, don a helmet and harness, then clip in to fly through the trees. Ride the course's ten ziplines between the forest platforms, enjoying breathtaking views as you go. Your guide will accompany you to ensure your comfort and safety.

After your ziplining adventure, you'll set off for another short rainforest hike and prepare for the final descent on the aerial tram. On the way down, you'll enjoy more commanding views of the island and its rainforest and a spectacular panoramic vista of the northern side of St Lucia.

After your 4.5-hour tour exploring the park by aerial tram and zipline, depart the park with some fantastic photos and memories.

This was a great excursion! We had Sancha and Aaron as guides and they did a great job! It was the perfect mix of hiking, ziplining, and we got the enjoy the aerial tram all of the way up and back down for some great views. Just remember to pack your bug spray. Someone had some available that we used, thank goodness! The mosquitoes were only bad at the bottom of the zipline trail where you begin your hike back up to the tram platform. Overall we had a great time :

The cable car, eight zip linings and walks were tremendous. Kadeen's botanical knowledge was impressive and his and Kennedy's expertise made the trip. I'd like to thank Kadeen for his exceptional kindness in guiding me up the steep, meandering uphill path. Without him I'm sure I'd still be at the bottom of the trail!

Note you're not physically fit - or as fit as you think - this is not the adventure for you!

All in all, an amazing adventure in breadth and depth highly recommended, even in the rain.

This tour was incredible. Our guides Jeffery and Terry were perfect. They were incredibly safe and concerned about everyone on the tour. This is the most beautiful zipline excursion and I would recommend it to everyone of all ages. I will remember it forever.

This is a really great tour. My wife and I are both over 70, but we both love to zip-line and enjoy beautiful scenery. This tour did both without an abundance of effort. We tram'd up the mountain and viewed the scenery with very knowledgeable guides then zip-lined back down the mountain. Tresia and Jeffery were very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the rain forest and were extremely patient and helpful with two old people. We were both worn out but very satisfied with the experience. Being a Vietnam vet, I've seen a lot of jungle fron the ground but seeing it from the tram was amazing with all the ferns, palms, flowers etc. Simply a great experience.

This was a great tour. Our guide Kennedy was extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest. The tram ride up and back was very scenic. There were 8 zip lines that seemed perfect for us as first timers. There was some walking to and from the zip lines this is not suitable for someone with mobility issues. We would definitely take this tour again and we highly recommend it to anyone considering this on their trip.

Even if you are not an adrenaline junkie or just a complete novice, by the end of the tour you will be zip lining like a pro! I was actually using no hands and able to video whilst zip lining.Cool!
