What You Can Expect

St Lucia Shore Excursion: Aerial Tram and Rainforest Tour

Aerial Tram and Rainforest Tour

When your ship docks in Castries, make your way to the park located in Chassin, St. Lucia, approximately 4.6 miles (7.4km) from the cruise ship port.

Board the aerial tram, a safe open-air gondola, and take your seat. Meet your professional naturalist guide, who will answer your questions, provide entertaining anecdotes and help identify the plants and wildlife. This is a safe, fun way for the whole family to experience the rainforest surroundings.

As the tram moves quietly through the forest, enjoy the sounds of the jungle and look for colorful flowers blooming in the gigantic trees. Watch out for the native endangered parrot, the Jacquot, and agouti (a small animal related to the guinea pig) rustling around in the tropical underbrush.

Be sure to bring your camera for spectacular photos of the forest from a bird's eye view.

When your 2.5-hour tour is over, return gently to the ground and depart the park.

Worry-free Shore Excursion:
We will ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to Castries for your ship’s departure. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Great experience. Got to see the Green Monkeys and feed them, swim with sea turtles, and go down through the caves. Guide was knowledgeable and provided information the entire trip.

This was a pretty cool tour. The aerial tram takes you all the way to the top of the rainforest (and mountain) and you have expert guided commentary all the way.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better June 2016

The gondola ride was nice. The 4.5 mile transfer was a rip off. The tour company wanted 25 per person which for our family of 5 was 125. I learned a big lesson, will be sure that transfers are always included in the future.

The trip was fine. It's to bad you don't tell people like us that the taxi ride to the tram is $100. 00 dollars. It would have been cheaper doing it thru the ship we were on. I don't think I will use you people again, because you did not mention the extra cost !! or the amount of the taxi.If you change your policy of telling people the FULL up front cost, then I may use you again.
