Let me begin by saying that as with any excursion that relies on wild animals, it is hit or miss on if you see any. We were not fortunate enough to see any, so this review is based wholly on the experience itself. I was picked up at my hotel and brought to the boat. The ride from my hotel was fine, but the vehicle was not in the best shape. As a female traveling alone on this excursion, it did give me a little pause, but the driver was nice and the ride completed with no problems. The boat is your normal party boat type with plenty of seating and an upper and lower area with some shade. The rum punch was delicious and the service was OK. I got offered one drink but never got the popcorn or a second drink that I asked for. To be fair though, I could have gone downstairs to get it. The boat and crew were fine. Nothing over the top fantastic, but good. All in all it was a nice day out on the Caribbean Sea.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better April 2017

Meeting directions were a little difficult to follow and they were about 25 minutes late in picking us up. The boat ride going out was nice. They served popcorn and water or rum punch. We did see what we all thought were a small group of dolphins but we were told they were false killer whales. Part of the Orca family??? Later in the far distance we saw some other boats stopped and if you looked way out there you could see a whale blow and then the whale tale. We then turned around rather than go out a little farther by the other boats to see the big whale. Very disappointed that we didn't go out a bit farther to see it. Boat ride back was really fast and bumpy. So much that you couldn't stand or even walk to the restroom. The captain told us on the way back that it was good we saw whales and were able to take a picture of that big whale. Due to the distance here wasn't anyway that any of us got a picture of that whale.
