Anna was a friendly and informative tour guide, who was able to answer all our questions, and also was able to dovetail our visit to fit with special interests.
The tour was great and our guide Ludmila is amazing. She is highly professional, her description of art and history was very interesting. Everything was highly organized so we did not wait in any lines, and transport was in time. Highly recommend this tour, it worth the money.
This tour was very informative. The guide and the driver were great. The Catherine Palace and the Pavlovsk Palace were spectacular and Olga, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. Much to our surprise we found that we enjoyed the Pavlovsk Palace the most. The crowds were much smaller and the gardens peaceful. Highly recommend this tour.
Excellent value for money small group tour with an excellent English speaking guide and careful driver!
Our guide Polina was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Catherine palace was flooded with people and there was a looong queue for tickets. It is worth choosing this tour to avoid waiting. I had such an amazing time on this tour. I would recommend it to everyone :))
The tour guide is very professional. I enjoyed the one day trip.
We had a great time on this highly informative tour. Our guide Anna was punctual and a very good driver as well! We were able to see both the Catherine and Pavlovsk Palaces in a non rushed manner. Would recommend!
Couldn't fault in any way. On time, great guide, not rushed, very informative, highly recommended tour and company
I liked this tour because the guide let us take our time going through the palaces and their gardens. Both palaces had unique features that made for an interesting half-day. Pavlovsk Palace doesn't have the swarms of tour groups -- which makes for a leisure tour of the palace and a leisure stroll through the gardens.
This was a really good tour of an enormous beautiful palace and its beautiful small palace neighbor. Catherine's palace and park are huge and show the size and wealth of the Russian state under the tsars. And their construction, and reconstruction after WW II is impressive, a Western European treasure in the East. Very well run, with an intelligent guide filling in the history.
I was fortunate enough to be the only person who booked the tour on the day, and they were happy to let the tour go ahead. My tour guide was lovely and knowledgeable. Catherine Palace was absolutely spectacular, by far the most extravagant palace I and #39;ve seen in Europe. Highly recommend
Really one of the best days of travel during my trip to Russia. I traveled in mid March so there were very, very few tourists basically empty at both the Catherine Palace and Pavlovsk Palace. My tour guide, Irina Kazantseva, was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable described in detail the histories and intricacies of the settings and added a great deal of personal history about the palace's occupants. Catherine Palace is quite stunning glistening gold interiors and mirrors. Pavlovsk Palace is more refined and filled with beautiful works of art. You miss out on the gardens in winter but gain in no hordes of people. There is also an excellent gift shop nearby where you can purchase high quality, Russian handicrafts. The tour was booked through Viator...highly recommended! Also, Thank you to Irina excellent guide!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and ensured our experince was memorable. Our transport was comfortable and well organised and the small goup of three made for a pleasant pesonalised experience.
Guide was very helpful. The original date we choose meant that we would only see Catherine's Palace but we were alerted and could choose an alternative date. Both palaces are well worth seeing and going with a tour is much easier than trying to organise by yourself.

Outstanding in every respect. Sergei from Marina Wilson Tours was terrific. His insights into the story behind the story particularly relative to the Pavlovsk Palace was very interesting and educational.
Interesting tour of the two palaces- but make sure you also go to the other palace with all the fountains. The Catherine palace is a reconstruction as the original was almost completely destroyed in the war. The highlight is definitely the amber room.
Knowledgeable guide helped ensure we made the most of this visit. Well worth the journey.
When I signed up for tour...did not know how many additional people would be on the tour ...since I only signed up for myself ...it would
have been good to know how many other were in my small group...also the email stated two pickup times...9 am and 10 am...since it was difficult to contact the designated person ...I was ready at 8:45 am..as requested...going back to the hotel and having reception call through in Russian I was told the pick up time would be 10 am...they arrived at 10:30 am...the tour leader did not seem to know that I was added to the tour until the last minute...the tour seemed rushed throughout the day
