Set out from port on a 2-day tour of St Petersburg visa-free and visit all of the city's top attractions. See Peterhof summer palace and its incredible outdoor fountain display; learn the history behind the onion-domed Church of the Spilt Blood; and enjoy a guided tour of the incredible Hermitage, one of the world's largest museums. You'll also visit the Fabergé Museum, home to 9 Imperial Easter eggs as well as the largest collection of Fabergé works on the planet. This shore excursion includes round-trip port of call transport daily.
This was a fantastic tour. Highly recommend it. Our tour guide Veronika was incredible. She explained everything we were seeing and answered every question. Wear your walking shoes, there is a lot to see. The tour doesn't include going inside of St. Isaacs but we ran over there during lunch and purchased a ticket and went in takes about 15 minutes to see the inside. Get the 'museum' ticket-- they call the inside of the church the museum. The Faberge eggs were gorgeous. The palaces and Hermitage were so ornate. The cathedral of the blood was breathtaking. Unfortunately there was some scaffolding on the outside, but it was still gorgeous. If you have difficulty walking distances at a pretty good clip this may not be the trip for you -- we put something like 13,000 steps on our fitbits each day.
Great two day in St. Petersburg and able to visit great places. Peterhof and Catherine's Palace are spectacular. The grounds and fountains at Peterhof are spectacular. And at Catherine's Palace - an Amber decorated room that Russia spend 12 million to restore! Veronika was a great guide. She was knowledgeable and entertaining. The Church of Spilled Blood is incredible! We definitely were able to enjoy the beauty of the places and get a great amount of history. And Russian pancakes -- pretty good! We only wish that members of a tour group were a little more courteous and get to the meeting places on time. One group was 45 minutes late. Getting through Russian Customs from a cruise ship was a little slow, but there were plenty of booths open and we were alerted to allow extra time. Thank you Veronika very much for making out 2 day visit very enjoyable.
We had a great guide Anna who knew everything from Russian automobiles to Rembrandt brush strokes. She was amazing!! We got to experience the history of St. Petersburg, the grandeur of the palaces, the Highlights of the Hermitage AND the daily life of the Russian citizens!!

This tour was amazing. Worth the money. AJ travel was touring us with a bunch of Princess cruise passenger.
Awesome and great professional tour guide Micheal.
I would highly recommend.
Small group of 7 with a lovely guide Elena and driver Andrew. Saw many sites with excellent information from guide. Boat trip and meal included along with all entry fees paid so nothing to pay for on a full two day guide.
We absolutely enjoyed this excursion, it meet all our expectations of seeing as much of St Petersburg as possible in two days. Our guide Sonja had a wonderful command of English, was well informed, highly educated and concerned that we fully understood what we were seeing, hearing and learning. We were a perfect size group of eight transported in a luxury van with a great driver, Ivan. We were met by the owner of the tour company Maxi Balt Tours , Alexei Volkov, and taken to the Faberge Museum in his personal car as we were the only two of the eight who were seeing this very worthwhile exhibit. We highly recommend you consider seeing St Petersburg with MaxiBaltTours. There is a great deal of walking involved in this tour, but felt good to get some serious exercise after eating cruise ship meals for 10 days.
Really well organized and very informative. Our guides Anna and Alexi could not have been better. The two days were filled, with the best sights of the city which is very beautiful and the museums were great. The trip to the Peterhof and Catherine's Palace, were very well done. The timing worked really well both days.
Irina our Guide was first rate and the headphones were very helpful to keep track of her. Russia is very strict and we had to stay with her, but I take a lot of photos, so had to walk fast to catch up at times. The Peterhof Gardens are a MUST see, the hydrofoil ride was good, Russian lunch had a good variety - borst soup, cabbage salad, etc. The Catherine Palace was gorgeous and we didn't have to wait in line like the people not in groups. The Faberge Museum was my favorite stop, Hermitage incredible, and the churches good. BE ready to do alot of walking, climbing stairs, and standing.
