A unique experience

The sea turtle poke his little head out was beyond amazing. The stingrays swimming around as well, by far a unique experience.
Absolutely NOT worth what we paid. Disappointing.

First: the guides were very nice. But the seat on my kayak kept sliding back-and-forth which was really uncomfortable. Then I was under the impression that we were going to see many many many fish, like when you go snorkeling at a decent spot and that it was a given- but when we got there we found out that there was no guarantee we would see ANYTHING at all. In one hour I saw exactly ONE fish and IG was the same color as the sand. So we essentially spent $600 to paddle around at night hearing nonstop talking from the guides (and some okay jokes, but I can get jokes on YouTube for free) looking at a sandy ocean floor. It was absolutely NOT worth 45 minutes of round trip driving and the money we paid. I hate to have a negative effect on the business of the kids running the tour, but it was a big disappointment. I gave it two stars because a lit up send through kayak is a cool thing and it was peaceful to kayak at night but not $100 per person peaceful. Not recommended. At all.

Caylee and unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the other individual but I do remember he is studying Marine Biology were extremely kind and gave lots of information as we moved along the tour. Definitely a great experience and a great one to make memories with the family. Loved everything about it!!!

Wow - this excursion is probably my favorite in all my years of traveling. My parents, siblings, and I were all exhausted after a long beach day and considered skipping. We’re SO grateful we didn’t! Our guides, Zach and Kaylee (sorry if that’s the wrong spelling!), were so funny and informative! We saw giant rays, huge tarpon, and a sea turtle! We all decided that even if we didn’t see a single animal, the boats and seeing the island at night was cool enough. You won’t regret booking this one!

The guides were excellent in pointing out historical sites and sea life of interest. The boats were great as was being able to see with the LED lights. I wish it had been a little longer

The guide was nice. We didn't really see much out in the water until we were docking and saw a few at the dock. It was a nice concept but I think was too early for the tour maybe.

The waiver link would not download. They sent it multiple times. It finally opened. We painfully filled out the information. Upon arrival they said that it did not show that anyone had filled them out. So, in the dark, we had to fill it out again. So we were late going out. I did not see anything. Others saw a few things. Definitely disappointed.

Underwhelming kayaking experience

This was a disappointing experience. "Illuminated Night Kayaking" sounds much cooler than it really is. If you are going for the experience of kayaking in the Caribbean, you will be disappointed by the very small area you are allowed to access (just a few hundred yards from the dock). If you are going to see aquatic life through the "glass bottomed kayaks", you will be disappointed by the limited visibility and scarce activity after dark. If you want to see fish, turtles, sting rays, etc., you'd be better off snorkeling in daylight. If you want to really kayak, this isn't for you either. But if you just want a relaxing (if somewhat unimpressive) time on the water being told what marine animals you "just saw" without actually seeing much of anything, then by all means, enjoy!

I thought it was a very nice experience. It was our first time kayaking. The instructors were great with explaining what to do. We still were having a time, but I thought we did pretty good. It was like bumper cars. We kept running into people. We saw a huge turtle and other sea life. We got very wet, but I think it was because we didn’t know how to handle the paddle properly. I was glad they gave the option to but your shoes, etc. in a bin they secured; especially my phone. Great experience …!

Nothing memorable to really see, we didn’t really see anything. The boat bottoms are clear but you can’t see anything through them. There were to many Kayakers, if you were towards the back of the group you couldn’t hear what the guides were saying at all. Save your money and go snorkeling around all the beautiful beaches of St. Thomas.
