Loved it! The Pirate impersonator was absolutely fabulous. We loved the entire event the beautiful swimming pool, the bar, the to-die-for view, the museums on the way down the 99 steps. It was a 5 Star excursion and the taxi ride from the ship to Blackbeard's tower was very reasonable, under 10 per person. can't remember the exact amount. The only drawback was the ticket agent telling us that they were not accepting Viator anymore. You'd better look into that.

The tour is fairly inexpensive and a good value. The pirate who led the tour did a great job and he was very much up on all the history of Blackbeard and the castle. We were annoyed, however, that when we called to reconfirm our reservation, they said they were closing at noon and could we come earlier than we planned? We're glad we did, but Viator needs to do a better job ensuring that what they sold can actually be delivered as promised.
