Queen Marian was very endearing and informative. She gave a nice tour and also gave my kids great life advice. :
The tour guide Queen Marian was fantastic!! She was very knowledgeable about the island and made us feel welcome and comfortable, she even gave us a parting gift, would highly recommend!!
The tour was great and although I have visited St. Thomas many times, I learned new information from Queen Marian, our tour guide. Great service and very enjoyable
As we got off ship, we were greeted by a wonderful elderly lady who guided us to our tour. Queen Marian arrived and we were off on our tour. Queen Marian was very personable and informative, pointing out various areas of interest. We had a wonderful tour of St Thomas and various stops for pictures. We especially enjoyed the liquid refreshments. My group was very pleased with the tour and would recommend it to anyone who would be interested in knowing about the island.
Queen Marriann was wonderful and very knowledgeable, and patient with our kids.
Queen Marrian was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She answered all our questions.
I am not kidding...this had to be the best tour and best tour guide we ever had over our many years of vacating....Queen Mariam was the most informative and personable guide we have ever had. She quizzed us during the tour and gave out really nice gifts to those who answered the questions correctly! Such a nice idea. She also provided free rum drinks to all of us the whole tour.
We love you Queen Mariam...Eddie and Rose in North Carolina December 2015
Marian and Tony picked us up right at the hotel. There were no ships that day so it was just us, and it was awesome! They even have drinks water, pop/soda, and rum for their guests, and we were able to sample the Cruzan flavours before deciding which to buy, which probably saved us money in the long run. Very informative about the history and places they take you, and even offer to provide info after the fact via email about a photo if you forget. Only disappointment is the day we went to Black Beard's Castle Tony wasn't working as Black Beard we had really been looking forward to seeing him, but that is in no way their fault!

This Tour was AWESOME!!! Our Tour Guide Queen Marian was fantastic, she made the Tour fun and exciting. She picked us up at the Port and we proceeded to Tour the island in an open air vehicle. We saw most of the famous cultural and historical sites such as Fort Christian Museum, 99 step, Hotel 1829, Drakes Seat, Magen's Bay Lookout, Mahogany Run Golf Course, Beacon Point, and Black Beards Castle. Queen Marian asked us to pay close attention to the details she was providing and later quizzed us, rewarding us with prizes when we answered correctly. Queen Marian is very knowledgeable about St Thomas and the surrounding islands. She made everyone on the tour feel special. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!!!!. After the tour she dropped us off at the port.
Queen Marian and Mr. Tony,
By far the best tour I have every been on. They were so sweet, even taking us to some of the local places to purchase rum. Which saved us a ton of money!
We had a wonderful time touring St. Thomas with you. Your husband was a wonderful story teller. I would love to visit again and this time bring my husband!!! We wish you the best!!!
Queen Marian is fantastic -- so much fun, she made the tour a real delight.
Queen Marian is knowledgeable, personable and reliable! I would not hesitate to recommend her.
This was the BEST tour of all the tours we booked during this cruise. Queen Marian and her husband Tony were very knowledgeable and made learning the history of the island fun with trivia prizes. Tony's depiction of the story of Blackbeard was so life-like and captivating. They also provided water and rum during the tour and made stops where we could get out and take pictures. They always made sure the group whole group was together before moving on to the next historical landmark. It was great knowing they were native to St Thomas so they recommended a great local place to have lunch. I'd definitely book again.
Many thanks to Queen Marian and her husband Tony for a fantastic tour around the Island of St Thomas. It was our fourth tour with Viator, we were met at the dock where the ship came into port so we didn't have to deal with all the other taxi and tour drivers trying to source passengers. Trip was fun and informative, with access to free drinks throughout the tour. Tony's description of Blackbeard's life and death was fantastic. Trip was very good value for money and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour.
I really enjoyed this sightseeing tour with Miss Queen! she was very thorough and touched alot of spots on the tour. A wealth of information. The only thing I would change is spending just a touch more time by the sites that have historical statues for us to photograph example - the 3 sisters I would have loved to have gotten a better photograph of this site.
Overall, a great tour and a must do if you visit St. Thomas!
Hi Miss Queen, it's Sharlene :-
Well worth the 30, but finding the tour bus and booking it correctly are a challenge. If you want to book a couple of things to note: 1 The order form only asks for the name of a hotel if you want to be picked up. It doesn't give you a place to put the ship you are arriving on. There are 2 ports in St Thomas so they don't know where to go. This happened to everyone on the tour. 2 Call them when you arrive so they can tell you where to meet. They don't have a license to pick up in front of the port, where the others are, so it can be difficult to find. Good tour, just a rough start.
It was somewhat tricky finding Marian, it would be good to have a very precise meeting place and a person with a name board. After that, it was a very interesting tour with lots of information. We also enjoyed tasting the rum and daiquiri, which were better than we expected! Marian was very accommodating about dropping us off in town and not back to the port.

The guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and we very much appreciated their restaurant recommendations, especially when Queen dropped us off at one of the places she recommended and then picked us up afterwards and dropped us off at our resort. The only downside was not being able to go inside of Blackbeard's Castle grounds. That probably would have resulted in 5 stars. Overall, I would recommend this tour to others.
Queen Marian was a delight and the tour was fun and interesting. I was disappointed that we did not get to the 99 steps and the synagogue, I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting St. Tomas.
I really thought the tour guide Queen was very pleasant and knew the island, but I felt she was in too big of a hurry. It might have been because she only had 3 on the tour. Now we did take a tour on St. John's with a young man Prince, and it was great.
The tour guide didn't seem too interested in giving the tour. She even attempted to have another tour guide include our group with his group while he talked, but he wouldn't have it.
This was my first Viator tour, most likely the LAST! Being late was no big deal, there were 5 ships at St. Thomas that day. Odd start, wanted all of our papers. to be sure, we were not over-charged..seemed strange? So into the banged up old truck, for what would be a wild ride, with one of the worse drivers, I have ever rode with.
There was a driver and a look-out, who I think was there to make sure we did not back into anything. This was suppose to be a historical and cultural tour....well either there is no culture or history in St. Thomas, or she knew little of it. All we got was a thrill ride, up and down hills, around curves at breakneck speeds. Little was said, when occasionally we stopped in front of some building and had to careen over almost to the seat level to see part of some building from our seats. This tour description said we would have refreshments.....we were not even offered a drink of water in two hours.....However, that did not go for the driver and her side-kick, who were both downing beers as she drove!!!, the odor of the beer came all the way to the seats.
They also had an open bottle of flavored Rum, which they were drinking as well,....Rum, chased with beer, while driving....UNBELIEVABLE!!!!.Dropped off in the shopping area for 45 min, and when we got back in, for some insane reason, they were even drunker. Should have taken a taxi back......anyway, after a wild ride back to the port, she handed us a bottle with some colored sand and broken shells, and a 50ml bottle of flavored rum. I cannot believe I was sold this both pathetic and dangerous tour, paying 60 for the opportunity to have my life taken in St Thomas
I look with great displeasure on Viator, for even offering this horrible experience. I intend to post warnings, to take GREAT CARE about booking anything with your company, particularly in St. Thomas. This was a unbelievable bad experience!
Once you have departed the cruise area the sightseeing will begin! In an open-air vehicle you will visit many of the most famous cultural and historical sights on St Thomas including Fort Christian Museum, 99 step, Hotel 1829, Drakes Seat, Magen's Bay Lookout, Mahogany Run Golf Course and Beacon Point.
We paid for a historical sightseeing trip.....and we got screwed. We basically had a car ride around the island. It started off leaving late due to the driver trying to find more passenagers that he could make money taking them to the beach. We never stopped at Fort Christian Museum, 99 steps, Hotel 1829, Drakes Seat nor the golf course. We did not learn about the oldest pirate island...our tour guide only pointed out where their low income housing was. Not impressed!!!!
Worst tour ever. We had no air conditioning and waited for an hour while she tried to find someone off another ship. It was very hot that day. We flew around the island in a truck with bad shocks to the point where my back was killing me and we had to cut the tour short and get off.
