What a great experience! The tour starts at Östermalms Saluhall, Stockholms oldest food hall, in central Stockholm. As you wind your way through the city, you get to try a myriad of Swedish foods from cured elk and smoked reindeer which I LOVED! to decadent chocolates which I loved even more!. There's meatballs and lingonberries and soup and seafood and licorice... Plus beer and wine and coffee! I was pleasantly surprised how much you end up eating after 4 hours. We learned about Sweden and Stockholm from our tour guide, Dunja, and the tour ends at a great little cafe in Gamla Stan. Here you get to enjoy a traditional Swedish fika complete with cinnamon roll and hot beverages. This was my favorite part as I truly tried to embrace the essence of it : I highly recommend this tour for foodies and non-foodies alike!
Our guide, Dunja, was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable not only about Swedish foods, but also was able to cover history as well. Highly recommend anyone to take this tour.
Dunja was an excellent guide providing both a good introduction to Stockholm and the local, Nordic food culture.
It was a wonderful walking food tour. Tour guide was exceptional friendly and the food were amazing. More then four hours of walking but it seem like thirty minutes. Will come back again.

This was a great tour! Dunja was a great tour guide, knowledgeable about not just the food we were eating, but the city as well. It's a great way to see the city and taste the Swedish cuisine. The meats, cheeses, fish, and sweets were divine! Don't pass up the opportunity to taste Sweden!!
The food tour is amazing! Not only do you get to see small allezs and foodhalls that you probably would not as a tourist, you get to try local delicacies like the seafood shrimp salad and salmon, exotic meats reindeer, moose and yummy deserts and chocolates!
Great 4 hours - suggest they give a map showing where everything we visited was so we could easily find our way back
This food tour were very funny and interesting. Your guide Soma sry if misspelled had given us a really warm atmoshpere and we felt more visiting a friend as actual meeting a your guide in addition she managed to improvise at given moments which we really appreciated. Information about the food was provided on scene or if ask inbetween as we walked too the next destination. other tours you walk inbetween the areas.
Maybe said that our group shall be 5 and we ended to start as only two guests.
This tour was a great introduction to not only food but to the city itself. A good walk around many places already on the to do list along with a sample of some lovely local Stockholm eateries and markets.Tour guide was funny and knowledgeable without being overbearing. Beautiful lunch stop and the chocolate shop is amazing!
Loved the tour.
Fritz was very informative helpful. The food was unique and I must say I was surprised at what a great foodie town Stockholm is. Recommend the tour very highly. I thought I had done this review back in June already but it looks like it never made it.
Absolutely loved this tour - the food, the guide and his inside info on the city and cultural insights, the food and the other participants. Have told heaps of people about this wonderful experience I highly recommend it - well done and thank you.
Fritz was a great guide, informative and energetic. He efficiently guided us through Stockholm wear comfy shoes! and each stop was well planned and well received by the vendors and participants alike. Would highly recommend! Thank you Fritz for your time and a delicious introduction to Sweden!
Loved this tour as it took us to some different places and also it was a great way to get a walking sense of the city. We started at the market, which was amazing. It was brief and I would have preferred more time there to get a sense of the history and the history of the vendors, but the cheese was wonderful. Our guide was very knowledgeable but not the most outgoing so we did have to ask her questions about places if we wanted more information but I wouldn't call her an 'enthusiastic foodie'. Still, she had great English and knew he way around and was able to give us tips and great local history as well as Swedish history. The group we were with was small and we were all very different types of travelers. Several of the stops were at 'smart' places and I cetainly feel we got our money's worth. We were able to retrace our steps and return to several of the places we went on the tour during our time there!

Don't hesitate - book it ! Was a great tour arond Stockholm with a friendly and knowledgeable local guide. Started in the wonderful atmosphere of the Saluhall food market with samples of cheese and meat and even a morning beer :- from there we walked towards the old town stopping off for meatballs and at a beautiful fish restaurant if only I ate fish !!. The tour ended in a cafe in the old town with buns and coffee ...... but the stop at the chocolate shop and sweet shop were my favourite. Great way to get a basic acquaintance with the city and maybe try some foods that you might not have otherwise eaten ...... like me with a taste of pickled herring ....... :-/
The venue of the starting point is easy to locate. The guide met us promptly and there were a total of 7 tastings in total. The food tasted were nice and delicate. Do go on an empty stomach! I made the mistake of taking breakfast before going.
Highly recommended if you would like to taste good food and have a chat with the local guide!
We had a great time. The group was reserved in their enthusiasm in booking this as none had ever done a food tour and were worried that it would be too much eating and not enough touring. By the end they were all converts to the food tour. They loved the walking tour of the area that was combined with fun stories and amazing local food. It was a highlight of the trip.
This was an excellent selection of different types of local food. I think we stopped at 7 or 8 places over the course of 4 hours. It was a great value! Everywhere we went, our food was ready and the attendants were pleasant and helpful. Our tour guide, Ewi, was probably the best part. She was very knowledgable -- about the food and the culture.
in my opinion, how great a tour is often depends on the tour guide. and Margarita was amazing! besides taking us to tasting places, she gave us some history, we stopped at some interesting historic spots, which made the tour fun and exciting. the tour was full 4 hours and we had 6 tastings total! was very yummy! one person in the group had a fitbit on, so, according to it, we walked 3 miles. no one was rushed, we all had time to sit down, eat, chat and enjoy. highly recommend the tour and very happy we have done it! thank you, Margarita!
Excellent tour. Great guide, great options. I highly recommend.
A wonderful food experience! Visited the food hall and a walking tour of Stockholm along with the food tasting.
We had a terrific time on this tour - we booked it for our first morning and it really helped us get through our jet lag. The highlight of our trip was visiting the old Ostermalms Saluhall, an incredible old indoor food market. We liked getting to sample food that we wouldn't have tried otherwise, like cloudberry jam and elk salami. Our tour guide was excellent and professional.
Fantastic tour, our guide was highly knowledgable. Great way to get oriented - and fed - in a new city.
