I bought both a 5-day and a 3-day pass to cover my 10-day stay. Tripled the face value with the museum/site admissions, hop on hop off bus and boat, and archipelago/lake cruises. Best deal EVER!
Worked out extremely well.
It was difficult to find the desk to exchange my voucher, but once we did, the pass was great to use! We went to several museums we would not have gone to otherwise and had lots of fun exploring Stockholm!
Ample scope to choose from, but would use an alternate strategy to maximize utilization of opportunities next time around. Difficult to redeem voucher as was in a department store that didn't open until 10-AM. Would consider on-site rather than on-line voucher Pass purchase. Must expect everything to work flawlessly, it didn't. Not Viator's responsibility, international connections. Was surprised by the limited window most places are open. This includes Hop on/ off boats closing promptly by 5:00 PM and color speciality routes being in or out. Walked back twice... Must be disciplined to optimize range of options. . . Logistics of transit are not figured with any of these offerings. We appreciate its up to user. Copenhagen clicked much better but was limited to 10:00 - 18:00 window also. Liked and engaged what we saw, would tour selected sites again. . . Burt and Suzanne, Minneapolis
everything good but the company that run The Stockholm Pass was very bad and make my mode flip it.
Ticket didn't include public transport, unlike many other Passes. Pick up point not near Railway Station. The staff was rude and one assistance told me it was his first day when he could not find my pass. It was the least of my concern how long he had work there. He should have been trained to do the job, that is what we paid for. There much be a better deal.
Unfortunately this is the first time we've had a bad experience with anything we purchased through Viator. The Stockholm Pass is something you have to be careful with. We were here Sunday and Monday. More than half the museums on the list are closed on Monday. A number of the boat rides only run in the summer. We had difficulty with Tourist Information because there are several different companies. There are also several different HOHO buses and boats. The boat was good, but not worth the money we paid for the pass. We did get to go to the Fotorafiska Museum and the Royal Palace, although many of the palace museums are free. Worse was the HOHO buses. They kept telling us it was the other bus. Very confusing and frustrating.
