The boat cruise was a great convenience and the zoo was great but it was mostly under construction.
The 3 day hop on hop off ferry was great, not only did we get to see the harbour but we got off and toured anything we wanted to see when we wanted. 3 days was more than enough to see everything at a pace that suited us. Taronga zoo has to be the best zoo in Australia, well worth going even if you've been to a dozen zoos already.
The 3-day hop on hop off pass was fantastic. It gave us the freedom to travel around the harbor at our leisure and enjoy the sites at our own time. Thank you for the experience.
Very good value for money, especially as we like messing about on boats.
Excellent value, we did not do the zoo but used the free Manly trip instead - a great day out there.
Good value way to explore Sydney and Darling Harbour with frequent ferries available. Taronga Zoo was a full day visit. We were impressed by the number of animals and the well appointed and spacious enclosures. The combined ticket means you can arrive by ferry and step almost straight on to the cable car which is a fun way to reach the entrance.
Really enjoyed the zoo visit especially the Outback area with Animals unique to Australia and Tasmania. City views from the Harbour perspective were very nice as well

We have used Viator now on numerous occasions. We find the service exceptional value with very friendly service. We will use Viator when ever booking tours. You guy's are the best.
Great value for money. Great staff at shop and very help and knowledgeable guides on the ferry. Well worth it.
What a fantastic way to see Sydney and surrounds- loved the efficiency of the service providers and the easy going warmth of the staff. Well done to all!
We loved the hop on hop off ferry. The Taronga Zoo was an added bonus. Highly recommend for getting around the popular areas of Sydney.
The hop-on hop-off idea worked really well, with unlimited trips possible between Darling Harbour and Circular Quay, two important tourist centres, and great views of the Bridge (you go under it) and the Opera House. There is a tour-guide on the boat giving the history of what you're looking at.
You need a timetable as the boats are not that frequent and finish quite early. We really enjoyed the zoo (world-class), with the ride up and down in the cable car included. We didn't go on the fast boat out to Manly in the end, as we had too many other things to do back in the city, (and the sort of things on offer there we had already done elsewhere), so probably didn't get our money's worth from a 3-Day pass, but it was still helpful to have the option as a fallback.
Don't bother with the hop on hop off bus if you have the choice between the two because the hop on hop off cruise pass is the BEST. We had a great time and highly recommend this to anyone visiting Australia.
A great deal because there's so much to see- the crew on each ferry was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this!
Very good way to get around and great views, although hours were too limited, especially in the evening. We hooped off at Manly, Watson's Bay, Darling Harbour, and the zoo. The zoo is nice but so many exhibits were empty and the layout is a bit inefficient, as others have said.
The 3 Day Harbour Hop-On Hop-Off pass was excellent. Would use it again and highly recommend.
Enjoyed the Zoo - lovely walk with a color coded path. Missed seeing the Platypus- went back twice but it must have been hiding/sleeping.
In Sydney be aware that there are 3 different Hop on hop off tours Sydney City, Sydney and Bondi, and water Harbour tours The water tours are stand alone and do not give transfer access to the land portions.
the zoo was great. I found the ferry schedule a little confusing but they were on time and professional. only used one day.
