This is an amazing tour! It started with pick up at our hotel and then a mini-tour of Sydney as we picked up the others on our tour. Then about a 90 minute ride to our first stop at a little restaurant for a snack.
Soon we were on backroads and spotting kangaroos almost immediately. Incredible! Then we went to a private property where we walked through the woods spotting kangaroos, echidnas and even a koala! Awesome awesome awesome!
Then to a local pub for fun dining and then back out to a park to look for more wild Australian animals. We spotted more kangaroos, opossums, and a wombat. Wow!
Cliff was our guide for the ten hour tour and he made it all the more fun by telling what we were seeing and by answering all our questions. He in incredible!
This review has lots of superlatives and that's because it's a superlative tour! Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the Sydney area!
This was an amazing tour. We saw everything in the wild. Our tour guide Ben was sensational. His knowledge was astonishing and it was apparent that he loves his job. You must do this tour. Worth every penny and then some.
Longer than we expected but Ben was terrific! And we saw some unusual animals like the Lace Monitor Lizard and Red Vellied Black Snake.
Steve our guide and tour operator was very knowledgable and fun. We learned a lot. We saw any animals wild in the bush. We had great eats too. Our pictures of a koala in a tree turned out great. I'd recommend this tour to Sydney visitors.
Excellent day! Steve is a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining.
Saw plenty of wildlife! The afternoon tea and evening meals were outstanding also. I would highly recommend!
Our guide, Steve, was very knowledgeable and filled us in on an abundance of Australian history. He was also very patient and made sure we got the most out of our experience by hunting for the elusive native wildlife.
This wildlife tour was fantastic! Cliff and Nick were excellent guides. They worked hard to make it the best adventure possible, and it was perfect. They make it FUN!
Our guide Mark was affable and informative, we saw lots of wildlife, and the pub where we had dinner was great. We both greatly prefer trips with small groups and that let us get out and DO something over looking out a bus window.
Our guide was Steve and he was very informed. He knows his Australian wildlife. He goes to great lengths to make sure you see the Australian big 5. We saw all 5, but the elusive Platapus. Very scenic and beautiful.
I really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about Australia's wildlife and history. Steve, our guide, was excellent and very knowledgable and led us to Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wallaroos, Wombats, Galahs and other birds, lizards and koalas. We didn't get to see the platypus, but we gave it the old college try, Dinner at the pub in Berrima was excellent. A most enjoyable day and a good value.
My favorite tour. Our guide, Steve, went out of his way to find wildlife and we saw quite a bit.
brilliant - the only thing we didnt see was the elusive platypus - but would definately recommend

A fun filled day with an excellent guide. We spotted a Koala (although when he spotted us he turned his back on us!), numerous kangaroos and got very close to numerous wombats. The food included in the oldest licenced pub was delicious. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour.
A great day out and Cliff was a super guide. Good fun with the highlight hunting possums in the dark, although finding any Koalas I think wishful thinking. Good wombat hunting and kangaroo seeing.
A long day but we really enjoyed it, food in the pie shop and pub very good indeed, in all very well worth doing and we were lucky to have a good convivial bus group of eight from other countries, so many laughs. Good photo opportunities and memorable.
Our guide, Cliff, was great! He provided great info on the animals we were going to see and helped us find the animals we wanted to see the most. We got to see kangaroos, emu, wallabies, wombats and, most importantly, a platypus! I would definitely do this tour again!
When I think of the best tour I had while in Australia and New Zealand for 3 weeks, this would be it. Cliff is the
man that effected these results. He is very intelligent and knowledgable and also objective at the same time.
We saw everything as they say below. I would like to hire Cliff to take us on a month tour of Australia. He
was very easy to get along with. THAT GUY!!!!!!!!!!! My highlight was, well everything, but I loved spotting
the roos at night and chasing the wombats down their holes night. Nooooooooooooooo they will not hurt you. I was the only woman who got out of the 4 wheel at night to chase down everything. You must get out
to experience them! They come out at night. The roos are on the other side of a fence so if you think they
will attack you, they can't. He stopped at a little town, for a bit of shopping at some great shops, and we
had dinner at a wonderful pub.. We truely had an "Australian Experience" thanks to Cliff.
Excellent. One of the highlights. Cliff our guide was very passionate and couldn't of been more helpful. His commentary was very formative. We saw koala, platypus, wombats, kangaroos. All in the wild. Really felt like being in the close to nature. I would definitely recommend this trip and hopefully you would get cliff to be your guide.
Excellent tour. Our guide/driver, Cliff, was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond the call of duty to find the wildlife promised - emus, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, even platypus! Only saw 1 koala, but 1 in the wild is worth a dozen in a zoo. If you have any interest in seeing Australian wildlife in its natural habitat, I highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful day trip with enough time to enjoy spotting and watching the animals in a small group and a tour guide who will try to respond to all your questions in a passionate and knowledgable way. We had enough stops on the way and a great dinner in a historic pub. I enjoyed every minute of the trip and recommend it to anyone who likes animals and nature. Just be aware that spotting all mentioned animals is not a guarantee. We were lucky and saw them all. My pick up was perfectly on time. Any delays are just due to attendees showing up late.
Fantastic trip to Emu Valley in Canyonleigh. We saw ALL the big 5--Kangaroos, Wombats, a Koala with her roo on her back and a platypus--plus parrots, cockatoos, a huge lace monitor on the prowl, and a bush-tailed possum. Our guide (Cliff) did all he could to help make our expedition a true adventure!
For the nature and wildlife lover this is the tour for you! The ability to experience Australia at it's finest. To see the different animals in their own environment is just incredible. Your guide will take you on a hike and ride of a lifetime through the bush. We saw various animals such as: owls, platypus, various species of birds including cockatoos, 3 different types of kangaroos, wombats, echidna, emu, fox and rabbits just to name a few. Watching the animals in the wild is just an experience that one can't express in words, you need to experience it to understand. The guides are very knowledgeable providing you fascinating history of the wildlife in Australia and information about the various animals.
