Although this is a long day, it was well worth the time to venture out of Sydney which is AMAZING. The tour bus was comfortable and other than our stop for lunch there was plenty of time at each stop. Don't dilly dally when you get off bus for lunch. Eat first, then dilly dally. Scenic world was a blast and one of the most unique tourist attractions I've been to throughout my travels. Our tour guide was very accommodating when there was a mechanical malfunction at Scenic World that could have made us miss part of the excursion. He sought us out and made arrangements to pick us up in a different spot so we wouldn't miss anything. The wildlife nature center was great also. I got to have a picture taken with a Koala Bear! I would highly recommend this excursion.

Really good / stress-free way to get to these places if you haven't rented a car. Pick up was on time, Jed was a great guide and the cruise back to Sydney was a nice touch. There are several versions of the tour that include lunch / rides at Scenic World, etc. so choose the right one for you.

Good value for money, but time was limited at most stops due to distances involved. Still a very enjoyable day though.

FJ Tours in the person of our Tour guide, Rae, did an excellent job providing us a great day of experiences during our visit to the Blue Mountains. As we drove through Sydney she provided commentary on the various areas we were passing through which made the trip more interesting. Our first stop was at the Featherdale Wildlife Park on the way to the Blue Mountains. We had done a visit to the Australia Zoo in Brisbane, but found the hands on approach of the Featherdale Park very accommodating. Due to my wife's illness we did not make it to Taranga Zoo, but it would have been difficult to outdo the Featherdale experience. Rae gave us plenty of time to see all the animals, interact with them, and see the wide array of exotic birds. The lunch stop at the small town of Leura was delightful and we had great tasting fish and chips at that stop at Loaves and Dishes- much better than the food we saw later at Scenic World. When we arrived at the Blue Mountains National Park, Rae, as she grew up in the area, took us to several more remote less crowded observation points. We then drove to the Scenic World rides which consisted of the Scenic Skyway, Scenic Cableway, and after a short walk through the Rain Forest at the bottom, we rode the Scenic Railway. It had a 50 degree grade and was a really fun ride back to the top which literally had us on the edge of our seats. Overall, Rae kept us together quite well, except for 3 who wanted to do their own thing. The entire day was well coordinated in a way we would not have been able to do on our own. Rae then dropped us off at a wharf up river near where the Olympic Stadium stood. She got us on the riverboat and we had a pleasant cruise back to the Circular Quay in the heart of Sydney. We had dinner there, and then took an easy train ride back to a stop near our hotel. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get out and see more than the usual sights like the Harbor Bridge and Opera House.

Great trip except for the rain. The rain and clouds prevent us from seeing the blue mountains which was the main reason's I went. All sights are worth seeing. I recommend the trip but don't go if rain is expected.

An excellent trip and a very good tour guide. good pace and did all that the itinery schedule specified.
The mountains are definitely worth a visit when visiting Sydney. We missed doing the mountain trip on our first visit to Sydney due to time, and are really pleased we got an opportunity to do it this time.

Most visually beautiful trip on our short visit to Sydney! Stopover in Leura for lovely lunch and coffee. Finally, seeing the Blue Mountains from many vantage points was very memorable. Our bus driver was very knowledgeable and entertained us with stories and bits of Australias history during our trip.

The Blue Mountains trip and Scenic World is not to be missed. It was a delight seeing the Koala Bear and the Kangaroo along with many exotic animals at the Scenic World. Our bus driver and guide was terrific showing us what and where to go to maximize enjoying the place. He even gave us a parting gift of tiny kangaroo stuff toy. The included Ferry boat ride is delightful and wonderful to see the Sydney bridge up close. Everyone in our group enjoyed the thrill riding the train at the Blue mountain. It was delightful we enjoyed it so much along with shopping. A Visit to the opera house is not to be missed. Overall a fantastic excursion via Viator.
