Your two-day tour to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains includes visits to Featherdale Wildlife Park and Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens Mt Tomah, along with several scenic viewpoints at the Three Sisters, Govetts Leap, Bridal Veil Falls and more. Plus you’ll have ample free time to take in the stunning views, walking trails, rainforest and other highlight of Blue Mountains National Park on your own.

Stay overnight at the 5-star Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort and Spa, a handsome Victorian-style resort that was once the home of a chief justice of New South Wales. Relax among lush gardens with views of the Blue Mountains, and enjoy the spacious grounds with top-notch restaurants, swimming pool, spa services (own expense) and more. Your tour includes one breakfast and a two-course lunch at an elegant restaurant in the Hydro Majestic Hotel, which offers tremendous views of Megalong Valley. Transportation, onboard commentary and hotel pick-up and drop-off at select hotels in Sydney are also included.


Day 1: Sydney to Blue Mountains
Depart early from Sydney and travel to the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains, stopping at Featherdale Wildlife Park, which is located on the outskirts of Sydney.  There you can enjoy close encounters with a variety of Australian animals, and the chance to hand-feed the kangaroos, wallabies and emus, and meet a koala.

Next, continue into the northern section of Blue Mountains National Park where you stop to admire Wentworth Falls. Take an easy walk to the waterfall, then go to the remote Eaglehawk Lookout for unobstructed views of the famous Three Sisters rock formation.  

After a morning of sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, your driver drops you off at Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort and Spa, which is located in a historic country with two acres of manicured gardens. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2: Blue Mountains – Sydney (B, L)
Have breakfast at the hotel and take your time in the morning to explore the area at your leisure. Your driver picks you up at approximately 11:45 am. and takes you to the town of Blackheath where you stop at the Hydro Majestic Hotel for a delicious 2-course meal at one of their excellent restaurants (beverages can be purchased at own expense). From the restaurant’s large picture windows, take in sweeping views of Megalong Valley.

After a relaxing lunch, drive to Govetts Leap, one of the most spectacular lookouts in the Blue Mountains. Admire views of the escarpments and Bridal Veil Falls, a 590-foot high (180-meter) waterfall that tumbles down a forested cliff. Then continue to your final stop at Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens Mt Tomah. Have time for a stroll through their extensive gardens, which boast views of the Blue Mountains, and marvel at thousands of cool climate plant species in their collections. Your tour ends with hotel drop-off in Sydney in the late afternoon.
