After hotel pickup in central Sydney, begin your day trip on a climate-controlled minivan that takes you on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Wentworth Falls. Stop there for views over Jamison Valley, then go to Mount Solitary at Lincoln’s Rock, named for Australian mountaineer Lincoln Hall.

Stop at Conservation Hut for sweeping views and morning tea with fresh scones, sweet treats, and tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Fueled up, continue to Scenic World, a popular attraction that features the world's steepest railroad. Purchase a ticket on the Scenic Railway to experience the descent to the Jamison Valley floor, where you can walk on a boardwalk that runs through lush rainforest. For a ride on other attractions, purchase another ticket. Take the Scenic Skyway gondola to gaze down at the Jamison Valley through the glass-bottom floor, or ride the Scenic Cableway in an enclosed cable-car that also offers tremendous views.

Get a close view of the Three Sisters rock formations from Echo Point and go to a private spot overlooking the Jamison Valley enjoy the tranquility away from the crowds. Leaving Blue Mountains National Park, make a stop to meet Australian wildlife at Featherdale Wildlife Park. You can even snap photos with koalas and hand-feed kangaroos.

Sail past riverfront suburbs and under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge as you wrap up your day with a Parramatta River boat cruise that ends at Circular Quay.

While in the Blue Mountains, enjoy an included hot lunch, which comes with your choice of six different dishes and a complimentary glass of Australian beer or wine, soft drink, tea or coffee.

My wife and I had a great time on this tour. I suggest walking down into the gorge rather than taking the tram. It is a very beautiful walk and since it is all downhill pretty easy. Take the tram back up. Several side viewpoints. Nice stop for tea and lunch.

We are 3 women friends traveling in Australia for the first time. This was a FABULOUS trip, well-paced and very interesting. Our guide, Brendan, was terrific. The views in the Blue Mountains were spectacular and our time at the wildlife park, Featherdale, was a highlight. We were a group of 13 in our van -- all friendly. And we enjoyed the food. The return to Sydney by boat was lovely. Can't recomment the trip too highly.

All was well organized with lunch and appetizers. For everyone who is visiting Sydney for the first time this the tour you must do!
