This trip was so much better than expected as we met some of the cast of Home and Away!
Pick up in Sydney was straightforward and the weather was perfect for the trip to Palm Beach seeing other stunning beaches on the way. We were told that a film crew would be joining us as they were filming for a special 30th anniversary programme to be shown mid March. It was great fun for us all on the minibus to Sing the Home and Away theme song! Near the beach, Justin and Robbo hopped on board for a quick chat. It was great seeing the bait shop and filming taking place. We were lucky to meet Ray Meagher aka Alf Stewart who was so friendly and took the time to chat to us all and have photos taken with us. Some of the production crew were also on board to give us background information about the programme too. All in all it was a perfect trip and the drop off in Manley with ferry back to Sydney ended a perfect afternoon and early evening.

Having spent time cruising around New Zealand and attending several shore excursions, on returning to Sydney we did this tour, and I can say even though I was pressurized by my partner to attend the trip, it was best excursion we did during our entire holiday, it really was amazing, and extraordinary value for money. We arrived at the actual filming set, while filming was taking place, however we were still allowed to get up close just a few feet during filming. The actors took time out during filming breaks to meet us and chat. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the set and how things worked. highly recommended even if your not fan of the programme like myself.

Fantastic tour, I really enjoyed the day. Very knowledgeable tour guides. Although we didn't see any filming I didn't feel that we missed out because there was still plenty to see. Really enjoyed the ferry ride back too, great views.

This was a great tour for any Home and Away fan. Plenty of time spent at Palm Beach and even had time for a drink at the Pier Diner.
Guide and driver were great, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We also saw where they film outside of the different homes. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any filming. Trip finished in Manly which was great as then you can take your time to head to the ferry.

I highly recommend this tour! The tour guide had extensive knowledge and he brought someone from the show production on to the tour and she knew everything about the story lines and characters. I was disappointed to not see any filming but was surprised to hear how far away the locations are from each other. I think to enhance this tour you should have a past/present cast member to meet the tour like the Neighbours tour does. All in all a great tour Thanks!

Great fun and we learnt a lot about the different settings for the show and how things are put together. We were fortunate to see some filming taking place and to have a photo op with Georgie Parker aka Roo Stewart, who was a lovely and very gracious lady with her time. We had wonderful tour guides with driver Paul and his lovely partner Tanya. The day was finished off with a gorgeous ferry ride back from Manly just after sunset with all the city lights!

I am an avid watcher of Home and Away so loved the tour immensely. Had plenty of time in each place the tour guide and commentator were both very friendly and very helpful. We got dropped of in Manley instead of where we got on at the Rocks which I thought was going to be a negative but actually it was great we sat and had drinks by the water, explored Manley had dinner there then went back by ferry so in actual fact was much better than being dropped of where we started. Excellent trip and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Being an absolute die hard home and away fan this was a must for me. Funnily enough my husband enjoyed it too although he was not that keen on going. We were lucky enough to see them filming which was a real bonus. We were dropped off at Manley Beach on the return journey had a strole along the beach and treated ourselves to great fish and chips before catching the ferry back to Circular Quay.
