Rafael was fun and enthusiastic, informative without being redundant. The scenery is lovley, the tasting experience great fun. Jon especially happy with his IPA at the HOPE brewery.
We went to 3 wineries and one distillery. These entrepreneurs were great hosts and very knowledgeable about the area history, climate and economy. We thoroughly enjoyed the new owners of Lucy's run. We even got pictures of kangaroo under the olive trees. Wonderful family owned winery. We wish them the best. Our lunch was awesome at Leo Gate Estate. But they didn't really talk much about the wine production but maybe we were too busy enjoying the food. Our bus driver was a hoot ... mister laid back. Are there still hippies?
The wine tasting tour was excellent and well worth the money! Our tour guide Daniel was enthusiastic and made the trip even more enjoyable. All wine tasting locations as well as the distillery tasting were well done. I would recommend this tour to anyone!
Wonderful and relaxing day trip to Hunter Valley! We got to enjoy some tasty wines at three different wineries, one of which also gave us samples of really good cheeses, try different vodka flavors at the distillery, sample chocolate and a piece of fudge, and enjoy a scrumptious lunch while taking in the beautiful landscape. We really enjoyed the smaller group tour because it allowed us more time to spend at each place without feeling overly rushed. Our tour guide Sebastian was awesome! He was very informative, engaging, and genuinely seemed to enjoy spending the day with us. It is a bit of a drive from Sydney to Hunter Valley a bit over 2 hours, but Sebastian kept us entertained the whole way and he had a great playlist for us to enjoy.
Had an amazing time. John our tour guide and driver was very friendly and informative. We had the 3 course meal. However it was a bit of a rush as the people that were having the one or two course meal finished way before we did and we still have to wait for the 3rd course. The wine was soso to be honest but it was a nice tour anyway.
This was a very enjoyable tour, Hunter Valley should not be missed, we visited 3 wineries, a vodka distillery, a chocolate tasting location, and enjoyed cheese samples at one winery, we enjoyed a superb steak with potatoes, salad and a glass of wine along with wine tasting at one of the wineries plus for the best part our driver and tour guide Flinders Stokes was the very Best you could ask for, he was very informative, knowledgeable and uniquely skilled to make your day a memorable one, enjoy your day, we will definitely return.
We were looking for a smaller more intimate group trip and this was great! Sebastian was our guide and he was entertaining and kept the whole group involved and having a good time. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the Hunter Valley.
Awesome tour company. Dan, our driver and guide for the day, was very friendly and helpful. He made all of us feel right at ease and took care of us as we stopped at each wine tasting. He was even kind enough to drop off something we forgot on the van on his day off! Great guide, great company.
We had a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and provided us with excellent information on the places of destination and things to expect. The crew was very professional and always made us feel at home. The places that we went to were all great. We had lots of wine, laughs, great photos, and pizza too! I would highly recommend to everyone to do a Hunter Valley Wine tour with them. It is worth it.
One of the most enjoyable tour experiences definitely, Sebastian was a fantastic, genuine tourguide and an excellent babysitter note to parents. The whole trip gave a great vibe with a relaxing pace, and the vodka distillery was a plus point! Would have been great to visit the more notable wineries such as Audrey Wilkinson or Scarborough
Very informative and kudos to Sebastian who is very friendly and helpful.
This was a great trip to the beautiful Hunter Valley! We received a lot of interesting information from "Mount View Estate" winery manager. I bought a soft fruity wine called "Cerisse" with cherry flavour in it. Most wineries were placed in a gorgeous scenery. Hope estate has astonishing view from the balcony where we had our delicious lunch. This is a great tour for a foodie! We visited a vodka distillery where we tried caramel vodka, chilli vodka and mango liquor. We also visited cheese factory where some unusual cheeses are made. I recommend buying blue cheese and pesto feta and some flavoured olive oils and papaya dressing from one of the wineries. You just can't get stuff like that in shops. This was a small group tour and our driver made a very pleasant atmosphere.
Impressed with how our driver, Flinder, coped with the challenges of the day which included traffic delays because of incident and over booking of seats once in the Hunter. Latter resulted in him rushing back and forwards and problems with time at available at distillery and chocolate factory.
Our guide Daniel was fantastic. Went to a nice variety of wineries and even saw some wild kangaroos!
Overall the trip was great and fun except the Chocolate tasting wasn't really a chocolate tasting. They just give you a piece of chocolate to taste with the wine during the wine tasting.
The tour guide was nice and friendly. We visited 4 winery and 1 cheese shop. The 2 course meal at
Hope Estate, HARVEST REStaurant was superb! My family enjoyed it very much! Thanks Viator!
This was a great tour overall.
We went to many wineries on the day but the vodka place was a bit much after drinking all day.
But, I would have to say the 3 course meal at Leogate Estate Wines was divine!
They had matched each course with different wines. I would recommend this tour to anyone that loves food, wine and great scenery.
Great trip with lots of good wine and vodka.
Educative. Good pizza for lunch
The driver was funny and entertaining on a long bus ride.
I thought it was funny.
It was a fantastic day with a great group of people. Will definitely recommend and come back again!
This tour required a 2.5 hours bus ride 5 hours both ways. Yet the bus provided was the worst when compared with the other tours. There was no head rest, no reclining seat and the spacing between rows was barely enough.
Good Tour, funny guide, would have appreciated that tour include backstage of wine making and cheese factory
