This was a very interesting tour. The tour guide really knew his stuff and was passionate about everything we saw on the tour.
This gem of a day trip is not to be missed. This National Park is hidden gem offering a peek into the country's aboriginal heritage. A knowledge and friendly crew. It is worth the time to put this experience on your itinerary. We included our 13 and 11 years old kids and they were engaged throughout the day.
since my daughter and i were only going to sydney she was on a business trip and i tagged along but we wanted to see some of the less developed areas, a friend of mine from australia recommended that we visit ku-ring-gai. and we were not disappointed. the tour was small only about 15 and our guide was fantastic. we left sydney and in about an hour, we were in the park. we started out on a boat cruising the river and saw aboriginal rock drawings and had lunch that was a kangaroo burger, beef burger and a chicken wrap. the scenery was beautiful. after the boat cruise we took the van to an area that is an aboriginal meeting area where we saw more rock carvings and some interesting rock structures. really enjoyed this tour.
We enjoyed the tour immensely. Pauls easy-going demeanor, Brians expert driving and Lukes navigation of the waters helped make the tour a very pleasant one. Paul was an excellent tour guide. His unhurried pace and expert explanation of what were seeing and observing was welcomed. We also like the fact that Paul continues to work with the aboriginal people solidify trust and to allow continued visits to their sacred grounds. Ill definitely recommend the tour to my friends and family. Thank You for a wonderful tour.
This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! Absolutely breathtaking scenery, amazing tour guides - Paul and his partner - and just an experience we'll never forget. All the details were worked out perfectly.
Excellent! Paul and Brian were great hosts! Perfect blend of natural beauty, culture, serenity great juice and coffee between sites on the boat, good conversation and laughs! all at the right pace. Have been on other tours where you feel rushed at some locations and wishing there was less time dedicated to others. This was perfect, and so close to Sydney! So Glad I picked this tour!
Loved this tour . Paul was very informative . Beautiful day out and Sydney Outback tours looked after everyone with care and catered for the extra stops for tourists to take photos
This was an outstanding tour. The park is beautiful and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I especially liked learning about the Native culture. The boat tour was also outstanding, especially the food. I highly recommend this tour.
My wife and I visited Ku-ring-gai Chase Park with Sydney Outback last week. It was great to see another part of Australia that was so close to the city. We really enjoyed learning about local flora and fauna, as well as learning about the people who left their messages in the park on the rocks and along the river. The experience on the water was really great. It was interesting to see birds of prey like split-tailed eagles, sea eagles, and fish. Furthermore, the calm, tranquil waters of the Cowan Creek will really take you to another place and time.
The presentation of information by Paul and Brian was great! We learned quite a bit about history of the area, birds, animals, plants and people. The lunch was delicious - Vietnamese Bahn Mi sandwiches and nice selection of teas and juices. We were very happy that we chose this tour and highly recommend it to other travelers looking to get the most out of their Sydney experience.

WE chose to take Paul's Sydney Outback tour to learn about the aboriginal culture and find unique cultural sites off the beaten path. We enjoyed both segments of the Ku-Ring-Gai National Park, by land to the cultural engraving sites and vistas, and by boat through the beautiful waterways to hidden rock paintings. Paul is truly passionate about and amazing at what he does, educating his guests to the fullest extent with maps, photos, artifacts, hands-on opportunities didgeridoo and weapons and demonstrations. In addition to aboriginal culture, we learned about the colonization, flora and fauna of the Sydney region. Paul is so thoughtful and prepared, providing snacks in the morning, a FULL dare I say luxury lunch with a gourmet chicken salad wrap, burger and bbq kangaroo focaccia sandwich all with fixings like sautéed onion and beets, etc., afternoon coffee/tea with fruit and sweets, and even a stop for optional ice cream. He has thought of everything! Seriously, this was an AMAZING tour that touched on every aspect of culture, environment, and history, as well as vistas, bushwalking and boating. Bravo Paul and Sydney Outback Tours! Thank you for the awesome experience!!!
Fantastic day trip. Paul and his crew were insightful and fun the whole way through.
Great trip. our guid Paul is very informative and helpful, recommend.
A fantastic day with Paul and a real insight into Aboriginal customs and culture which avoided the political slant which you get in all the museums. The tour took in some breathtaking locations and Aboriginal carvings. I would highly recommend this.
Great trip loved it guide was great saw sights most will never see. Loved hand prints ride on river was awesome. Sandwiches was a little poor brochure wasn't clear about coffee stop it's a pay your own not included
Very interesting and a chance to see Australian history from a different perspective. The tour team were very friendly and looked after us well. It's an experience that will stay with us.
A well worth experience, wonderful excursion if you like the Nature. People in charge couldnt be more professional. Excellent behavior and explanations. Wonderful food and care along the tour. I personally highly recommend it.
Paul and his team really put on a great tour. He's passionate about sharing his knowledge of the area and the history of the aboriginals who used to live there. Everyone on his team is super friendly, genuine and helpful. They supply just about everything you would need, but bring cash for the marina snack shop if you think you might want to grab a soft drink or other type of snack.
What an interesting tour! So glad I found this. Great guide and driver - so knowledgeable about the history of Sydney and the Aboriginal people of this area. The boat trip was the icing on the cake!! Made for a really lovely day tour
Very good excursion, does not pick up at White bay port, would need to get to main area. Really good lunch, and saw a lot of Aborigine sites as well as some history. Beautiful scenery
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about aboriginal culture. Views are magnificent. Crew did their best to make guests comfortable. Very interesting and educational trip

We had such a great time today with Paul, Bryan and Luke! Thanks guys for such a wonderful and unique tour! I highly recommend this tour to people who want to enjoy Sydney outside the tourist trap!
This is a down to earth adventure and we came back in awe of this place. Our guide and coach driver were awesome. We felt safe and were fed very well. The sights we were shown and taught about left a deep and lasting impression on us. There are no words to adequately describe our amazing tour.
