What You Can Expect

Morning or Afternoon Half-Day Sydney City Sightseeing Tour

Bondi Beach - Panoramic Sydney

Begin your Sydney sightseeing tour with pick-up from your hotel and head straight into the heart of the city. Your first stop is one of Sydney’s oldest districts, The Rocks, where you’ll have chance to stroll the cobblestone lanes and learn more about the city’s notorious convict history from your guide.

Next, head to the waterfront to admire views of two of Sydney’s most famous landmarks – the magnificent Sydney Opera House and the towering Sydney Harbour Bridge. Continue past the gigantic QVB shopping mall to the central shopping boulevard of Oxford Street, stopping along the way to take photos of the Centre Point Tower, Sydney’s tallest building.

Enjoy a glimpse of cool and cosmopolitan Sydney as you pass through the hip Paddington district, then continue to the coast at Tamarama. Stop to soak up the scenery along the coastal walk between Tamarama and Bronte, and enjoy dazzling views across the Pacific from atop the sea cliffs.

Arrive at your next stop, Bondi Beach, one of Sydney’s busiest beaches, and hear how it became famous as the setting for reality TV show Bondi Rescue. Jump out to stroll along the beachfront promenade, watch the bronzed surfers and Aussie lifeguards, and perhaps enjoy a cool drink or an ice cream (own expense). Before you leave, take a detour through neighboring Dover Heights, where you’ll enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Sydney.

Finally, head back to the city via the lively neighborhoods of Double Bay and Kings Cross, and stop for a final photo opportunity at Mrs Macquarie’s Point, looking out over Sydney Harbour.

After an action-packed half-day adventure, either end your tour at either Darling Harbour to join an optional lunch cruise or seaplane tour around the Harbour or at Circular Quay.

Our guide Mario was fabulous...he knows the city very well...and made sure to take us to all the best sights and to give us alot of information. This tour was a great overview of Sydney and I highly recommend if your short ontime or you want to see the highlights and then decide what you want to do while in Sydney. We got to see so much in a short period of time.

This was just a fun excursion. Our guide was from Germany but has been in Sydney for over thirty years. His knowledge of the city and the surrounding areas were great. We took this prior to boarding our cruise and it was a great way to get a highlight of the city in a short amount of time.

Paul was the most perfect guide you could wish for, he had great knowledge of the area and he made a real effort into making sure that we got the most out of our trip. We had another trip booked straight after this one and he made sure we were there on time and all checked in.

Paul, our tour guide made the time go by fast, and he was informative and interesting to listen to. We started out tour in Circular Quay and Sydney harbor area. The city has an ongoing project of redoing tram service for central business district, so streets are torn up and traffic was a challenge. We visited Lunar Park, in the Darling Harbor area, and saw the Rocks neighborhood. our tour took us down McQuary street, with many beautiful buildings, past the Botanic Gardens, to the Campa Bay Wharf, and to the Domain, a park for all people. The guide gave us interesting insights into the history and districts of Sydney, how the area was settled, including the prisons. Rose Bay, Neilson Park, Watson's Bay, and Paddington Market shops. All in a half day, and so informative on the first day of our stay in Sydney.

My biggest problem was that I forgot to bring my camera. The guide was wonderful and had all the information we needed. He even dropped us off by a yarn shop we wanted to go to, and then pointed the way back to our hotel.

What a fabulous morning tour with Paul - I can highly recommend this tour provider! The small group just 5 of us and small bus made this tour perfect, as we could easily maneuver around the city sights. The commentary was exceptional interesting, informative and given with such enthusiasm. I travelled with two 15 year old girls, and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you Paul !
