Such an awesome tour. Driver a Greg was fantastic. Saw everything that we wanted. Great stops and timing at each spot was just perfect.
Couldn't ask for a better trip. Great value
With only staying in Sydney for 3 days we decided to do the 'touristy thing' and join a tour. I'm so glad we did. Grey - Line picked us up from out hotel on time, and their coach was top of the range. The driver was knowledgable and comical at the same time. We visited The Rocks for a walking tour with another guide who 'knew his stuff inside out' and made sure we kept to time so we could meet the coah to continue the tour further. As well as seeing the sights such as The Opera House and the Harbour Bridge we also drove through several neighbourhoods and were told the history of the areas and the modern day info, such as cost of living etc - which was very intersting.
We chose to then take a lunch cruise on the harbour - the boat was large and well maintained and the food was lovely. We dropped on with good weather and were able to sit up top in the sun even thoughy it was the middle of winter.
Overall a great day which I'd definitely recommend to anybody who hasn't much time to see all the sights individually.
Very informative, loved the walking part of the tour. It was a great way to see the different neighborhoods of
It was a lovely day and the tour guide was great. The walking tour of the rocks was very informative I would definitely recommend adding the Opera House tour upgrade.
we were with Greyline tours, they picked us up on time, the guide was friendly and informative we enjoyed the trip which gave us or barings of the city on our first morning. We had a short wolking tour included down in the rocks area, a lot of history down there, we were taken round all the sights and over to Bondi beach, we opted for the aditional harbour cruise with lunch. This was very nice, the food was plentiful and tasty including seafood salads, beef chicken vegetables, something for everyone really. drinks were extra. from the Wharf you make your own way back to your hotel. An enjoyable first day in Sydney. Thanyou Greyline.
Very informative guide .
Lots on the agenda but it all went smoothly and very enjoyable
Great tour. Great photo opportunities. Upgraded with Opera House tour was so worth it.
wonderful tour but when we arrived on good fri. said it was a holiday and no tours til following tues. we came back the next day to see if we could get concert tickets and found that they we having tours we were lucky to find a time opening. we wasted a lot of time but were happy with the tour and guide
From the pick up at the hotel to the end it was a superb experience. I would highly recommend it!
Great tour but on way back to appartment I had a stroke ended up in
Hospital maybe tour was a little to exciting for a pensioner. k
Excellent tour. Seeing the inside of the opera house is even more impressive that the exterior.
Tour was great, although the Opera House supplement was disappointing. While the Opera House was a great experience and a must-see, the guided tour was horrible.
Enjoyable, reasonably priced orientation tour, the high points being an interesting walking tour at The Rocks, the old part of the city built to a large extent with convict labor, and a park stop with nice views of the Opera House and Harbor Bridge. The Bondi Beach stop, said to be an iconic location, was a bit boring. Rather empty, few surfers and no waves, and not many shops. I'm sure it's a matter of timing. Wish we had time for the upgrades, as they would have been very interesting. Tour operator did hotel pick-up in the morning, but no drop-off afterwards, so you're on your own getting back to your hotel.
Really enjoyed this short tour, especially the walking tour through the Rocks which was so interesting and informative. Disappointed with the drive through Chinatown which turned out to be, on the way back, Oh Chinatown's up that street as we whizzed past.
Good tour for an overview of Sydney. We wished we had added the opera house tour at the end. Our walking tour of the Rocks area was the best of all. We also enjoyed Bondi beach area. Tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining.
This tour gives an overall view of Sydney. We opted not to do the opera house tour and I regret that decision. If you book this one be sure to add the opera house tour to it. It will be more economical that way. Lots of people on this tour and much talking while I was trying to listen to the driver. Hard to hear many times. All in all still worth doing since it does a nice job of history and scenery. The best was when James took us on the walking tour of the rocks area. Great job and easy to hear and follow. This tour is especially good if you are short on time.
Please, please do not take the sydney opera house tour upgrade. The tour guide will just drop you near the wharf and ask you to walk few kilometers to reach the opera house. The tour operator does not do anything at all. They are like a public bus, stopping at a stop and he will just point a finger and tell you to go there.
With regard to Sydney Morning tour, this is ok as they take you to few picturisque location such as bondi beach, a place where you can take great picture of hobart bridge. This tour is ok, but this operator should do much better than just acting like a public bus for opera house tour.
Note from Viator: Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and apologize that the Sydney Opera House upgrade did not meet expectations. We have contacted our local tour operator so that they are aware of the situation and can improve in the future.
as tourists for the first time to Sydney I was very disappointed with this tour. The driver dropped us off in front of sydney opera house and had sought for itself how to follow the opera house tour, then return to the hotel, we try yourself.
After a few good experiences, this left a real bad taste , Gray Line the local tour operator advised us to be at a spot at 7.15AM , the bus showed up ay 8.00 AM and to our dismay this was just a transfer bus , we had to hop on to another which again made us wait for about 30 minutes at a location with a big crowd and utter confusion prevailing no one sure of which bus to board . Since we started the tour quite late the first destination rocks was much rushed , though the guide was nice and it was informative.
Past which we just did bondi beach as we were informed Mcquirie's chair was closed, driver just gave us a round of the city. We had an upgraded trip of Opera House and to our further disappointment, the driver dropped us more than a Km away from Opera House handed us a voucher with only 15 minutes spare to reach and start opera house tour , We were a group of and in a rush due to a couple of seniors , only 7 of us could make to opera house. Driver did not give us any information on where to go in Opera house whom to see there which was a bit of stress figure out what to do in 15 minutes.
Highly disappointed , a rip off at the price that viator charged us for the trip.
