This combination package provides two hop-on hop-off tour passes, one for the harbor cruise and one for the double-decker bus tour. The harbor ferry pass is valid for 2-days and the explorer bus pass is valid for 48 hours from time of first use. If you want to explore a certain stop in depth, simply hop off the boat or bus, then catch the next ride when you are ready to continue.

Please note, the cruise must be taken before the bus tour. The bus tour can then be taken any day within 30 days of your cruise. Please check the schedule for up-to-date hours of operation at the time of your visit.

Hop-On Hop-Off Sydney Harbor Cruise:

The harbor cruise departs from Darling Harbour and offers you a scenic way to enjoy Sydney Harbour and hop off at any of the four stops. Listen to informative onboard commentary during the cruise and hop off to explore Circular Quay, Taronga Zoo, Watsons Bay and Manly. The boats depart approximately every 60-80 minutes.

Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour:

The open-top, double-decker bus makes 35 stops throughout Sydney and famous Bondi Beach, with the full loop lasting about 1.5 hours. Buses run every 15-20 minutes, with the option to include a round-trip ferry from Circular Quay to Manly, which is celebrated for its beaches and proximity to Sydney Harbour National Park.

In central Sydney, pass by the iconic Sydney Opera House, admire the extensive Royal Botanic Gardens and Hyde Park, see the seat of government at Parliament House and delve into art and culture at the Australian Museum. Further afield, watch the surfers catch waves at Bondi Beach and perhaps enjoy some fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants.

great way to see the city from water and land - watch schedules -

Great way to see the city from the water and land. Would not have visited Manly and other sites without this. THe team is great, ease of booking great, however return schedules for boats do not alwasys get followed (we got to the zoo, and would up taking the ferry back when this boat did not return that hour on schedule). The busses provide a great overview as your are going thru the city, but also be aware that you must depart/change busses at Circular Quay, and the last departure from the Quay in late Feb when we were there was 6pm, so we had to learn how to use the Goerge Street city tram to returm to the hotel (only 66 cents US for a trip) which would up being a great mode of travel.

Not worth the time

We usually like to do these to get a feel for a city when we visit. We did the bus and ferry combo. The ferries were fine and ran on time and staff were very nice. These were through Captain Cook tours. However the Fastferry is larger and quicker and runs more frequently and is not too expensive. We should have just down that. As for the busses. This was not a good experience. We took it out to Bondi beach. It was supposed to run every thirty minutes but we waited an hour. By then it was packed as people were very upset. It was not worth waiting and wasting our limited time in Sydney. Drivers were courteous enough and this schedule issue appeared to be out of their control. But I think this will be the last time we use such a service.

The harbor cruise was very nice, person giving talk was fun and gave a lot of information. Bus was very boring, could have gotten around better with public transportation. Mire music than commentary

The combo tickets serve many a purposes. If your not in the mood to go to a specific destination, the HOHO tickets are a tour in themselves with narration. Highly recommended

Let someone else do the driving and parking!! Relax and see the sites!

We found this to be a very easy way to see some highlights and sights without the stress of driving or finding parking. It's great that you can get off/on at any point if you want to visit any of the locations. The bus had some earphones with audio to listen to. Maps were given out to show us the routes we would be taking and the bus stop points. It was similar with the boat cruise around Sydney Harbor.

Captain Cook Sydney Harbor tour is a no nonsense sailing excursion around the Sydney Harbor is a must - you will see Sydney as few visitors to Sydney do! The Hop on Hop off bus is excellent, also a must to get an overview of Sydney and the greater area. Book them both and get a free 90-minute tour of "The Rocks". Love this city and the introduction these tours provides us. We spent 2-weeks in Sydney - this is one of the worlds great cities!

I did both the cruise and the 2 day bus tours and they were both great. The first day when I did the cruise the weather was awful but the person doing the commentary more than made up. She was informative and entertaining ingredients in equal measure. The bus tour took me to all I places I wanted to go and helped me very quickly get my bearings. Highly recommended.
