Great way to start our day after traveling all night. To start on the water on a hot day was perfect!!!! Great buy for the money.

, Apr 2018

It's an average hop-on hop-off tour. It'll get you to the places you need, but the wifi on board doesn't work and the customer service isn't great. The harbor cruise was a really nice way to see the city from the water, even if you don't get off anywhere.

, Apr 2018

The places that we saw were wonderful, however we didnt learn anything about them!
It was a shame that the audio portion of both tours was very poor.
Not only could we not hear them clearly on both, but there was a lack of information.
The hop on bus was especially annoying with the loud music playing most of the time. The headsets werent reliable as well.
There were many sights that we saw, that wed love to have known about, however the loud music kept blaring on without any commentary. It was a nice way to see the city, however I wouldve like to learn more about it.

Had a wonderful time. Great excursion and the cost was very affordable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great way to see everything in Sydney and get to the best places I would recommend this

The tickets must be picked up from Captain Cook Cruises office which is next to the Sealife Aquarium, 9.30am -5.30pm.We started with the HOHO Cruise from Darling Harbour Pier 26 at 9.30am. The boat was big and comfortable. There is a person announcing the stops and describing the point of interest. We stopped at Taronga Zoo and spent 6 hours there. The next day we did the HOHO Bus Tour. We were given a set of earphones and can listen to the point of interest along the way. We stopped at Australian Museum and Powerhouse Museum.
Overall, this is the best way to visit the city with limited time. Recommended!

A great combo trip. The details of getting tickets in exchange for our voucher was smooth. We arrived at Pier 6 at Circular Quay and promptly got our cruise tickets and hop on hop off passes. The cruise was good and gave us good photo opportunities as we went past the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Next day we undertook the trip on hop on hop off bus from a Circular Quay. Would recommend to anybody with limited time in Sydney.

You MUST pick up your ticket at the boat office first ! You can not ride the bus to the boat office before you pick up your ticket . This should be noted more clearly !
The HOHO bus tour is ok - a lot of filler music , but it does get you around . We never used the boat because it’s a timed ticket

Its wonderful to take the ferries to the different locations. Great views of the harbor. Bus was great as well. Good way to see the city.

We really enjoyed the Hop On Hop off Bus in Sydney and would recommend it highly to all who want to get an overview of this magnificent city. It allows you to pick and chose where you will spend time and concentrate on. The Hop on Hop Off Harbor Cruise is good as well but there is a city run transportation ferry system that gets you from place to place with great frequency and that was very convenient as well. You buy an Opal card, put an amount on the card and travel by using the card. I cannot say with any accuracy which would save you money but neither is expensive and all embark at the Circular Quays many piers.

We did the combined HOHO bus and ferry, figuring it would save some money. It allows you 2 days 48 consecutive hours for the ferry and 24 hours for the bus. For absolutely no logical reason that anyone could explain to us, you must use the ferry first. We were hoping to use the bus on our first day in order to get a good view of a larger area around the city. But you can't get on the bus unless you've already started you 48 hours with the ferry. I'd encourage anyone who wants to do the bus first not to purchase the combined tickets, unless you have a good plan for how you are going to use the two days with the ferry already in mind. Both the bus and the ferry tours were interesting and we did feel like we got a good overview of the Sydney area by doing both. So in that respect they were a good value. We just wish they would be more flexible in how you can use the tickets for each mode of transportation.

This was a bargain tour, two days of fun and sightseeing, enjoying the Taronga Zoo from our harbor cruise, and the beautiful sights from the waters of Sydney Harbor. On our city bus tour, we stopped at many places, most importantly the Becker Minty Art Gallery, and loved it. We loved the great restaurant choices along the waterfront in Sydney, and tasted many wines, and fabulous gelatos.

, Feb 2018

Very convenient and a great way to just tour the city.

, Feb 2018

I was disappointed as I had purchased the 5 package deal and this was 2 of the tours that would have been included in the deal. I would not have purchased separately if I had known.

Also we were unable to use the hop on hop off bus as we were unable to find where we could get on. There was construction in the area and it was not marked where the new locations for the stops were.

, Feb 2018

It was a nice cruise and we seen alot of nice things but there was a lot of sight seeing cruises on the bay.

, Feb 2018

A great way to see to see Sydney and the harbour. The buses were clean, had running commentary and were on time. The views from the cruise were spectacular.

, Feb 2018

Another good way to see more of the city, and get different views. Good value for money.

, Feb 2018

Great way to see the city!

, Jan 2018

The company that runs the hop on/hop off service owns the monopoly. It is very well run and thru Viator you can get a discount. It was nice to already have our vouchers. The cruise portion on Viator advertises for 24 hours but when we got there they said we would have 48 hours- which was really good. We used it for our transportation services.

, Jan 2018

Bus driver not friendly. No narrations. OK for transportation from one stop to another. Harbor cruise was great with narration and friendly guide on board.
