What You Can Expect

Sydney Combo: Hop-On Hop-Off Harbor Cruise and Hop-On Hop-Off City Bus Tour

Sydney and Bondi Hop-on Hop-off Bus

This combination package provides two hop-on hop-off tour passes, one for the harbor cruise and one for the double-decker bus tour. The harbor ferry pass is valid for 2-days and the explorer bus pass is valid for 24 hours from time of first use. If you want to explore a certain stop in depth, simply hop off the boat or bus, then catch the next ride when you are ready to continue.

Please note, the cruise must be taken before the bus tour. The bus tour can then be taken any day within 30 days of your cruise. Please check the schedule for up-to-date hours of operation at the time of your visit.

Hop-On Hop-Off Sydney Harbor Cruise:
The harbor cruise departs from either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay and offers you a scenic way to enjoy Sydney Harbour and hop off at any of the eight stops. Listen to informative onboard commentary during the cruise and hop off to explore Taronga Zoo, ICC Sydney, Barrangaroo, Watsons Bay, Shark Island, Garden Island, Luna Park, Fort Denison, Manly and more. The boats depart approximately every 45 minutes.

Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour:
The open-top, double-decker bus makes 35 stops throughout Sydney and famous Bondi Beach, with the full loop lasting about 1.5 hours. Buses run every 15-20 minutes, with the option to include a round-trip ferry from Circular Quay to Manly, which is celebrated for its beaches and proximity to Sydney Harbour National Park.

In central Sydney, pass by the iconic Sydney Opera House, admire the extensive Royal Botanic Gardens and Hyde Park, see the seat of government at Parliament House and delve into art and culture at the Australian Museum. Further afield, watch the surfers catch waves at Bondi Beach and perhaps enjoy some fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants.

The company that runs the hop on/hop off service owns the monopoly. It is very well run and thru Viator you can get a discount. It was nice to already have our vouchers. The cruise portion on Viator advertises for 24 hours but when we got there they said we would have 48 hours- which was really good. We used it for our transportation services.

Very good value as we could use the pass for 2 whole days for the cruise and so could visit the Taronga Zoo and still go to Manly Beach! And the bus also allowed us a tour of the many interesting places around the city at leisure.another 2 days pass worth.

Both the bus and cruise parts of the ticket were fantastic, real value for money. Make sure you take your hat and sun cream, the top deck gets pretty hot!!

This was a good way to experience the Sydney sights over 2 days and as our train look us to Circular Quay thats where we started. The cruise was great fun with interesting commentary and we combined it with a visit to Sealife which was fab. We didn't realise that to get to Darling Harbour where Sealife, Madame Tussauds and Wildlife Zoo are situated involved à boat transfer so a timetable and explanation would have been helpful at the start. All staff were very helpful so If in doubt just ask! On day 2 we took the bus tour from Circular Quay and hopped off at Darling Harbour to visit the Wildlife Zoo, another great and well organised attraction. We continued on the bus and started round again as we'd missed the Sydney Tower Eye stop. This is another great attraction and well worth a visit for the panoramic views of the city. A huge thank you to all staff who are involved as you made our trip to Sydney very special:

This was the best and easiest way to see Sydney in 2 days. Many folks on tripadvisor recommended using the Opal Card and stated that there would be lots of traffic in the city. This was not true for our trip. This was a great way to get around and the included harbor cruise was fantastic, just a bit chilly on the water on November 14, 2017. I have used these types of tourism venues in many cities and they have proven to me, the best way to get around in a short period of time. I found it cheaper to book via VIATOR, as the cost of the bus tour alone, was 75 through our hotel.
