What You Can Expect

Sydney Harbour Afternoon Tall Ship Discovery Cruise

Sydney Tall Ships

Make your own way to Campbells Cove jetty, located in the Rocks, the historic neighborhood where Sydney began. After boarding your ship, admire the exquisite restoration work that has rejuvenated this old wooden ship, one of only two tall ships that still sail the waters of Sydney Harbour.

Enjoy the sea breeze and waterfront views as your ship sets sail, passing under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and gliding by Sydney Opera House. Hear the history of Sydney’s transformation from a sleepy colony town to a modern world-class city, and how the tall ships that once filled the harbor facilitated trade across the oceans.

If you like, tap into your inner sailor and help to raise the sails or take the wheel of the ship. Or simply relax on deck and admire Sydney from the water, snapping photos of Shark Island, Fort Denison and Sydney Harbour National Park. Snack on light refreshments served during your cruise.

Your ship returns you to Campbells Cove at the end of your 90-minute cruise.

We loved this cruise, it was relaxed and intimate we were fortunate to have a moderate size group that afternoon! and the crew was warm and hospitable, as was the host and our skipper! all in all, nothing to beat this one as a tourist, on a nice Sydney summer day :-

The whole experience was fantastic. The crew were very friendly, and the guide knowledgeable about all the areas along the shore. The silence when the engine was turned off and the sails hoisted was just lovely. Snacks were good, and some of our party helped to hoist the sails. All in all, a very pleasant afternoon. Highly recommended.

Loved it ! Very nice. We also hit the Vivid lights in the harbor, and 2 of our party climbed the mast to the crows nest like a real pirate ! Super.

Another great tour. Professional sailors with great stories to tell. The climb was definitely not worth the cost so glad we did not choose to do it. Perhaps one complimentary drink to start would have been nice.

Well worth the time and the money. Just seeing the rigging and operation of the vessel was worth the ticket. The views of the harbor were a delight. Information from the captain and crew not only made this trip more enjoyable, but helped us with other locations as well. The picture is a bit misleading. It would have been great to go under full sail, but the most we did was break out a single square sail. It was still fun.
