Check out areas that are off-limits to the general public, learn about the distinctive exterior design made up of ‘shell’ tiles, and hear about opera house’s Danish architect, including his inspiration and building challenges. Fun to get the history and tour of the opera house, and definitely better than walking through it unguided. I wish you could take pictures inside the large theaters, but they don't allow it. You do get to go in all the main theaters though. This is a beautiful and historical tour, and you'll learn about the construction, architecture, inspiration, and history of the opera house. After the tour, you get a discount for play tickets, so if you are planning to see something there which you should! book them after the tour.

I enjoyed this tour. The guide was very informative and took you into a couple of theatres and explained about different parts of the building inside and out. You got your photo taken at the beginning. At the end of the tour there were several photos of you in a presentation book for 40 dollars 50 if you wanted the postcards too. You did not have to buy the book with photos, but it told you all about the Opera house. The tour was not too expensive compared to some prices for other activities and tours.

A must tour for anyone visiting Sydney. The theatres we toured were simply amazing. We didn't take in any actual performances but were glad we took the inside tour to see the Opera House and learn about its history. Better pricing, too, when we bought our tickets on-line rather than at the box office at the site.

We thoroughly enjoyed our guided walking tour of the Sydney Opera House. We met our guide and he gave us the audio equipment and explained everything that we would be seeing and doing. The Sydney Opera House is amazing and beautiful!!! The tour guide was able to answer questions and knew so much about the Opera House. We were able to see some ballet practice which was an added treat. We also enjoyed eating our lunch at the Opera Bar outside restaurant. Food was delicious!!! It was an amazing tour!!! The Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour is the reason why we chose to come from North Carolina to Australia. Thank you for a memorable day!!!!

As much as it almost seems over-hyped, this is definitely a worthwhole trip! Understanding the history of the site from concept to actual building as well as teh personaloties involved was as interesting as the actual architecture. Really enjoyed it!

Loved the Sydney Opera House Guided Walking Tour. We were able to get the history and inside peak of three different venues within the opera house. It gives you a great perspective of the building itself and all the little details that you would never have known if not for the tour. Would definitely book through Viator to save on cost.

Well organised from start to finish. A great opportunity to go inside the main auditorium and some of the other smaller theatres. Our guide was well informed. Finished by a lovely lunch at Opera Kitchen, at our own expense. One of lifes experiences
