totally awesome!!! the narrator was most impressive with his thorough and in-depth knowledge of the entire whaling issue - outstanding.
Went for the BBQ lunch but ended up really enjoying the whole trip !! Our tour guide "Biggles" was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife. The captain and crew went to a lot of trouble to find whales and were rewarded by sighting and following two humpbacks. A great day out and highly recommended.
An absolutely fantastic 4 hr cruise, well organised and the commentary excellent. A very knowledgeable guide and as promised we did get to see Whales which was an additional bonus.
Caring and helpful crew, they did try their very best to make all guests happy
Excellent informative and friendly staff, would definitely recommend .
Awesome experience. The whales were beautiful and the company very professional. Would recommend it.
Food great boat nice and crew lovely. Our tour guide very knowledgable and helpful answering all our questions. The whales were playing for us which made our tour even better. A very good well organised trip and we will be returning .
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Knew right where to go to find the whales. We saw a total of 6 come up to breathe. Sad that none jumped out of the water, but no guarantees in the wild! Saw many dolphins jumping which was very cool! Great day on the ocean!
Great day and the whales performed for us lunch was fabulous congrats to the crew will come again
This tour was everything I expected and more, I would like to thank Oz Whale Watching for an informative and enjoyable day. Cassie (on board marine biologist) was very knowledgeable about the Whales in Sydney Harbour as well as other sea life and birds. We got to see 2 humpback whales ( a mother and a baby) breaching
Food was excellent and crew did a fantastic job maneuvering around the ocean to find a whale. Not only did they find a whale, we saw 2 and actually got to see one jump! The team spotted the whale spouts in the distance and they used caution and precision to get closer to the whales and we found ourselves right next to one of them. We had one pop up right beside the boat where we were standing on the outside on the deck so we were less than 3 feet from it. It was so exhilarating to be that close to the whales and to watch them pop-up all around us. Excellent job on making this a excursion to remember!
The staffs service was excellent and the whale guide is really knowledgeable about the humpbacks. They were really patience in locating the whales and most importantly, they respected the whales presence and the ecology of the Marine life. We encounter another whale watching cruise boat and when they spotted the whales, they just happily charged towards them. With that kind of stupidity, the whales went naturally underwater. Thanks to our operators knowledge and patience, we had a big bonus of the whales coming so close to the boat! It had been a real privileged interacting with the whales. We even had a couple of common dolphins that jumped up right beside the boat. The experience was amazing! I highly recommend them!
I have always wanted to see whales in the wild but as a zoologist, I don't want to disturb these magnificent animals more than we need to. Oz Whale Watching tours is definitely an eco-friendly tour and respecting the whales in their environment is their number one priority. We went out on a Sunday afternoon, enjoyed a tasty lunch but I was literally glued to the water, desperate to see a fin, tail or plume. I was rewarded by being the first to spot the tail! We only saw one whale that day but the commentary was great (even to the subtle criticism of the other, more invasive boats!) and I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
