This is a very nice tour, and I did enjoy the trip and the food. The Sun Moon Lake is quite beautiful and the Kenting National Park has amazing view. I only wish that I could spend a bit time on the beach in Kenting.
Very good itinerary, gave me a good overview of some of the best attractions in Taiwan, very nice hotels and very professional english-speaking guide.
There was a cancellation on the 5 day tour of Taiwan so I upgraded.
The tour was absolutely wonderful. The guide was very informative and on some of the longer journeys we were shown very interesting DVDs about Taiwan.
The driver was very helpful.
The hotels were outstanding, a pity we couldn't spend more time in them!!
I loved it!

David and Billy Wong are great guides, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. These guys both found small local vendors where we could really experience the Taiwan charm and goodness. Include the Bullet Train from Kaohsiung to Taipei as an item in the package. The bullet train was amazing.

The tour was really well organised, The accommodation was very comfortable and of a very high standard. The tour was great value for money, and made all the more enjoyable by our guide, Tony, who was well informed, helpful and great company!
Sun moon lake is gorgeous! What a serene and romantic place. For Kaohsiung tour, just a suggestion- do not combine non-speaking English clients with English clients. Very uncomfortable not understanding what the tour guide and non-speaking English were talking about the whole tour.

We loved our 'trip south.' Three were from L.A.(Mandarin and English); two from Shanghai (Mandarin); and us (English). The guide made the whole trip enjoyable for all and created special experiences...visual and gourmet. The south is so different from the busy north...this was a great way to see it!
I very much enjoyed this tour. My favourite stop in Central Taiwan was Lukang with its fabulous Chinese temples my favourites out of the many in Taiwan, streetfood better and cheaper here than anywhere else on the tour I found and interesting antiques. My favourite stop in Southern Taiwan was the natural gas fires coming out of the ground, as personally I have never seen anything like these anywhere else. I thought that all of the hotels were very good. I would have preferred to get the bullet train from Kaohsiung back to Taipei rather than the slow train and I would have been happy to pay a bit extra for that. I am glad that we did at least get the train back rather than drive along the scary raised highways. The guide for the Central Taiwan tour was excellent. The guide for the Southern Taiwan tour was very pleasant but I personally couldn't quite understand his accent. Both guides were very organised.
