The three-hour Taipei tour continues to the National Palace Museum, which houses the world's largest and most valuable collection of Chinese art treasures. There are permanent displays of ceramics, bronzes, oracle bones, porcelain, paintings, calligraphy, enamelware, jade, Ching dynasty costume, carvings, and cabinets, as well as temporary exhibitions of other items.
Travel to one of the many traditional Chinese temples that surround Taipei city. Then it's time for some shopping at the Handicraft Center, the center offers Taiwanese craftsmanship including jewelry, art and furniture.
This tour was a helpful insight to Taipei. We were a little disappointed however with the lack of a hotel pickup due to location. Most of the sights we could have just seen for ourselves if we were staying in the location of the pickups offered.
The guide was very helpful and made sure we took in all the activities described in the tour. The hotel pick-up was on time and the vehicles were clean and comfortable.
Tony our guide was great. We saw the city very comfortably and quickly. We had enough time to enjoy each site without staying too long
Great way to see the sights and learn a quite a bit about Taiwan history.
This tour was amazing!
City tour was nice! I recommended !
Our guide, Bong (sp?) was a delight! Engaged, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He answered questions well, interacted with all the guests, and seemed to really enjoy his job.
We had plenty of time at each location - and thoroughly enjoyed our guide and his personal additions and comments.
Excellent all round!
We had a small group with a very knowledgable and bright tour guide who really knows Taipei..English speaking and was easy to understand and very anxious to engage and answer questions!
