we enjoyed our entire experience on the railway, from booking on line to departure, stops along the way, views over gorge and photo oportunities. learning the history from well informed comentary, and learning so much about how the cog and rail system worked. well done to the team.

It was one of those things that was good to experience, but I'm glad I didn't do the 9 hour trip and only did the 4 hours. The highlight was the stop where we got to pan for gold. Commentary was good and the lady was down-to-earth, but I personally would have liked more info and stories. Would I do it again? No. But it was something I can now tick off as doing and experiencing, it is part of our history, and I did learn new things.
