The young man we had as a guide to the village didn't have a clue. It seemed he didn't even want to be there. A Hungi meal was included with the tour but it was the tiniest piece of chicken, sweet potato and corn from the café. You wouldn't even know if it was cooked in the traditional way. Big let down.
Small groups conducted by a resident of the village, which really is still a proper community.
Enjoyed hearing about the cooking in thermal pools and over boxed vents, also the baths.
The show was very enjoyable, the performers seemed to enjoy it as much as the audience .
