A driver helpful and knowledggood trip and in the time available covered a lot of ground to see the main elements of Rotorua.
The driver was very helpful and patient beyond the call of duty with certain individuals that tended to wander and get lost!
Great excursion. The red woods were fantastic! Good way to see the sulfur pools & the bubbling mud. Kwei farm was interesting. Gary S. was our driver/guide. He was very knowledgeable. Would do this tour again.
We had a great day; our guide/driver Gary Stickler commentary was excellent. He gave us an in-depth insight of the places we visited and drove through (with a bit of humour included) A value for money tour and experience.
The tour bus was air-con but rather squishy and uncomfortable. We couldn't hear the commentary which was annoying but we enjoyed seeing the hot springs although not quite what we expected. We weren't rushed to see things and guide was nice and relaxed . The beach stop was rather boring, the kiwi farm ok but we should have been warned you can't take fruit back on the ship. (we ate it for our lunch stop) The redwood forest was good. Hubby enjoyed the foot spa. Overall it was good value for money.
A very knowledgeable chatty guide took us on an excellent tour. All the normal visits. Our hosts at the Kiwi farm were fits class. I still prefer the classic kiwi fruit but the yellow variety is clearly a market winner. A bottle of green juice was very refreshing. At Rotorua the gutsers were having a day off but still plenty of thermal activity and pungency! All in all a delightful tour in excellent company.
We had a marvellous, interest packed day thanks to our driver guide, Kathryn who was very interesting and factual and went out of her way to ensure that everyone was included and assisted.
I would recommend Viator as a great way to see destinations from the cruise port as a great deal was covered in a relatively short time.
Very much appreciated.
Our tour guide Susanna was fantastic, super friendly, very informative on all the places we visited. The group was a good size too, just the right amount of people to keep moving when we have to. Would definitely recommend using this tour again.
