I went at night because of scheduling issues, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Stunning.
A great day..the Moose Bar at Te Anau is a wonderful place to spend the time waiting for the glow worms visit. The bar manager made us feel very welcome and our lunch of NZ lamb shanks was brilliant
A unique experience, very well managed by Real Adventures inspite of the January crowd.
It was a once in a lifetime experience. very surreal and mesmerizing. Little bit crowded around January, but the folks managed it really well
Very enthusiastic staff, very knowledgeable of their subject who made the evening g a fun experience. Would recommend to anyone.
A really enjoyable experience, very surreal! I would recommend it.
What a great experience despite the rain - but we still enjoyed the visit to the glowworm cave.
Our guide was quite knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She answered all our questions and pointed out some interesting facts about the cave and its unique inhabitants.
We will definitely recommend this to our friends and relatives if they get a chance to visit Te Anau in the future.
Great trip, lovely ride across the lake, knowledgable staff and a slightly spooky trip underground in complete darkness apart from the glow worms
Gorgeous weather, a top-notch tour operator, and stunning natural wonder made for a perfect day!
Beautiful day on the water, I have been there before, many years ago the facilities have improved but the commentary on the boat was poor and incorrect overseas tourists may not have known but New Zealanders on the boat certainly did. The trip in the caves was exciting and the kids really enjoyed it, overall a great day trip for the whole family
Interesting and very well organised tour. A must see for visitors of Te Anau.
Very informative - the staff certainly knew there stuff. Not for the claustrophobic - remember, you're in a cave! It was a magical experience.
This attraction is one that should not be missed. I suggest you arrive in Te Anau by 1 PM on the day before your trip to the Milford Sound. Take the afternoon tour to the cave. Then leave early the next morning for the Sound. The 11 AM tour there is less crowded. Plus the roads, in the winter can be uncertain and there is no need to rush!
Trip me and my two boys wont forget. They were worried going into the cave, but after comming back out they wanted to do it again!.
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Quite unique. Would have loved it to be even longer though!!
A brilliant trip, the boat trip out to the caves was a unexpected bonus. The staff were very informative and well organised so as we all got to see the caves, waterfalls and of course the glow worms
Really worth seeing - very knowledgeable guides and the trip across the lake in the early morning was beautiful too.
We really enjoyed this excursion into a very dark cave. The DOC in NZ have found a way to allow access and increase understanding of a fascinating creature without compromising its environment too much. Very well done. A lovely end to our time in Fiordland

Amazing trip though more exciting than most! Had to duck low to get into the caves and then walk over rushing water on a wire grid. Boat trip in the caves was great absolute silence and dark except fit the go lowers.
